Hey guys an gals I was wondering what is the best cure to get rid of smelly feet. I wash them and keep them well covered. I have used many anti- fungal creams ( even though i'm pretty sure i don't have fungus). Is anybody else out there going through the same thing as well. Advice is more than welcome

FO or Foot Odor only occurs for me when I don't wear socks which is quite often. A little peppermint foot cream not only soothes your feet but takes away the stink.

Dr. Oz says for that problem, you should soak your feet in brewed tea. Something in it will cure foot odor.

I think if you keep them exfoliated of dead, dry, cracked skin it should help as well.

Yeah, foot fungus and bacteria can live in your shoes. Dust the insides of your shoes with the same powder you use on your feet both before and after you use them.

    P.S. I love your sig :)

I use Speed Stick deoderant on the soles of my feet before putting on my socks. No odor at all. The deoderant around your heals keeps them soft and smooth also.

Agreed. I have a tool that I bought in the foot care aisle of the pharmacy that grinds/files away the tough, dead skin that forms on the heel and ball of the feet. That usually does it for me.

Look into vitamins and nutrients that you may be lacking. Zinc is recommended! it's that crazy mineral that you may be deficient in.

Diet could have something to do with it too... if you're ph is too much on the acidic side you will have foot odor. Eat more foods that will bring your ph into balance. You can find a list of these foods through a google search. Drinking water with lemon is a good way to bring your ph into balance and or more to the alkaline side. When you're more alkaline certain bacterias cannot thrive on your body. Keeping your toe nails trimmed and pedicured helps too.

Also, wear only cotton socks, or socks that are as close to being 100% cotton as possible. Avoid polyester blends. A little bit of spandex and nylon is OK though. 85% Cotton 10% Nylon and 5% Spandex is a good start.

I have not had foot odor in decades just by following all of the above. Seriously.
