i recently had sex with two different girls on two separate occasions who had smelly vaginas. smelled "fishy".... most of the girls i've been with do not have an odor, smell clean and fresh.

what does the fishy smell mean? is it bad? unclean?

what's a tactful kind way of suggesting they work on this, without offending them. it's kind of a buzz kill. you know?

thank you!!

I agree. Could be from excessive sweat, or simply not cleaning properly. Tactfully? Suggest showering together and you do the cleaning. .. make it fun

If I know I'm going to have sex I doublewash to make sure it's extra nice and clean

It could be BV - Bacterial Vaginosis; it typically has a "fishy" smell, and there may be a discharge too. BV is NOT classed as an STI. In a nutshell - BV develops when there is an imbalance between the "good bacteria" and the "bad bacteria" in the reproductive canal. Just to be on the safe side, as a doctor, I would advise that your partners have themselves checked by a health care professional.

That's interesting, so now I know what to call it.

Hygiene is a must, everyone owes it to their partners to be clean down there. That said, in the middle of a session it can be tricky, depending on your partner. Some are easily offended, while others would thank you for letting them know and act on the spot. If you are unsure, maybe leading them to shower sex is an option, and politely bringing up the matter later?

Tell them to take a shower. Personally, I think it's more offensive and a buzzkill for someone to come to the bedroom smelling like ass than saying something. If I just came from the gym or something and I know I'm not fresh, I wouldn't hop in bed with someone without cleaning myself. If her feelings get hurt and she gets mad tell her that your nose is hurting.

My vagina smelled kind of cheesy when I had a yeast infection. But I am not sure if other women have encountered that smell too.
But a yeast infection always has to be treated properly.

I've heard the term "fishy" used frequently. What about if it smells cheesy? What does that entail?

My bad dude..i was talking front but i guess you have so much experience in the back you just had to go there.:moon:

Lol and how is a straight dude supposed to get off from a guy? Physically speaking it's impossible, what do you expect just poking dicks? That's just ridiculous. If we wanted to do anal, women have butt holes also, so your initial statement that "going gay" is a good alternative because men have "more to offer" is just dumb (and you know that, it was just a smart ass comment)
