Haven't watched. Can this really be any good without Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton, Jamie Bell, etc. and director Bong Joon-ho?

Will watch for morbid curiosity - The show went through some big changes, apparently for the worst, during production - but will check it out on netflix when it comes out over here

Hard to say because the script/pilot isn’t available publicly but it was originally written by Josh Friedman and a pilot directed by Scott Derrickson (Dr. Strange etc...), before execs decided to change direction. Derrickson quit after Friedman was fired: “The 72-page Snowpiercer TV pilot script by @Josh_Friedman is the best I’ve ever read,” he wrote on Twitter. “The feature-length pilot I made from that script may be my best work. The new showrunner has a radically different vision for the show. I am forgoing my option to direct the extreme reshoots.” - They were also working with an extremely diverse cast and crew, many of whom were not taken for the final project.
