So, is Queen Latifah a lesbian after all?

Okay. Before everyone jumps all over me, let's get a few things clear:

    1. I support the lesbian community.
    2. It's good to be gay.

Okay? Is that clear? Thank you.

Now ... on to the question. For all of her career, Queen Latifah has been plagued by questions about her sexuality. I've always thought she was a lesbian, and apparently everyone else has as well. Now, I hear that she's moving in with her (female) trainer. This is all over the media. It seems like she is on the verge of coming out -- which is a good thing.

I wasn't aware that she tried to hide it.

I don't think she ever denied it per se. But she just sort of skirted the issue. I don't know. I guess at some point I got the feeling she denied it.

Actually, technically, she never denied or confirmed it. You konw, there are some masculine appearing women who are straight. There are some effeminate men who are straight. So, at some point, I wondered if maybe she may be STRAIGHT after all. But then the years went by and there never appeared to be a man in the picture; and now she's moving in with her female personal trainer.

Unless she has a 'P' as in LSPG then I could really give a toss. She's had some good, solid screen & TV roles and seems like a very nice lass. If she wants more, erm, personal training time in the privacy of her 10 bedroom house then so be it! Looking at her vacation photos her trainer does appear to have some rather unique exercise moves!

I have a friend that knows for a fact that she is, because they wanted to get married and they got married in boston cause Queen Latifah did. So to answer your question, yes she is.

I was in love with Rosie O'Donnel for the longest time until.....gay
I proceeded to fall in love with Ellen Degenres.....gay
...Felt incredibly drawn to Jane Lynch.....gay
....was completely enamoured wih Portia De Rossi.....gay
Since i've harbored feelings for the longest time for Queen Latifah, i'm just going to go with my track record of falling for strong, honest (sometimes plus sized) women of integrity....and stick with the odds. There's a good chance she's gay...just based on that.
Never ever did find out, but i had a thing for Camryn Manheim a while back... anyone aware of her status???

I wish she would come out. The black community needs as many LBGT idols as I do cocks.

    not that i think it isn't obvious but;

a colleague of ginger lynn allen's (lesbo lisa) who works in the porn industry as a writer, has a number of celebrity friends, including britney spears, chris judd, michelle rodruiguez, and once reported that she saw queen latifah licking a number of stacked up pussies at an "off the radar" celebrity party she once attended. she found it a little strange that people even questioned if QL was a lesbian anyway...

I agree completely; plus, at this point it really wouldn't affect her career one way or the other.

Does anyone think a 70% gay 30% straight cutie like myself could possibly lure her back to the dark side of heterosexuality for just one night....it would be like that scene from road trip......(cheetah skin panty girl riding skinny white boy....hmmmmm)

"i love sam_solo26" who is possibly a skinnier type white boy!

If she is a lesbian, then she should come out on her own terms. Not because the black community needs a role model.

It's pretty obviously how this is on-topic: it has to do with a celebrity; it has to do with the possible homosexuality of a celebrity; this is a forum about discussing celebrities, and many people on this forum are homosexual. Granted, she doesn't have a "endowment," but it is still on-topic. Maybe the "etc." forum would've been better, but I've seen non-penis-related-discussions of celebrities on this particular forum before. Lighten up.

The lack of black LBGT idols is a result of the fact that few blacks will come out -- because the black community is highly religious, teaching that homosexuality is a sin. If Queen Latifah came out she would likely lose most of her black audience. She will probably come out in ten years or so. But, you know, by then it will probably be pointless. I mean, sort of already is....

    /RAGING HOMO MOMENT.

You know what? I am sick and tired of people talking about Queen Latifah and how she "needs" to come out, according to who's definition of out? Her family more than likely knows, people in the industry probably know, who else does she need to tell? Just because she didn't do like Lance Bass, Ricky Martin, and Chelly Wright and run off to people for a cover story doesn't mean she isn't out. It just means that she doesn't want the media in her business.

And you know what else? The Blacks in the LGBT community need support like mad, but I don't think that should come on by forcing, blackmailing and pressuring people out of the closet. Even though they may not necessarily be deep in the first place, coming out is deeply personal and should only be done by a person's own volition. The day we start dragging people out of the closet against their will is the day the LGBT community will collapse on itself.

    /END RAGING HOMO MOMENT.

And we were all so shocked when Lance Bass and Ricky Martin came out of the closet, weren't we? We would be equally shocked if Queen Latifah came out.

Look. My point in this thread was to ask the following question: Did she come out and I missed it? I heard she bought a house with her female personal trainer, and I wonderd if this had accompanied her own public "outing" and I just hadn't been aware.

QL attended Alicia Keys' recent wedding with her girlfriend and they were photographed together and it was obvious that they are a couple...she's definitely not hiding anything any longer.

AND NOBODY CARES...not even "the black community"
