I am 33 healthy, jog, lift weights ect, but the other night I could not get it up. I have been really distraught over it. This has happened before in my life and I have always attributed to being nervous. I have had a physicals in the past and nothing is wrong with me. This happens so intermittently maybe 4 or 5 times in my life that I have never brought it up with the Doctor. My question is do you think my smoking cigarettes could be the culprit. Does anyone else have this problem. Buy the way the little guy cheated me out of a fine 23 yearold busty college nymph. Dam Him!!!!!

its entirely possible. I know that since I started back smoking a few months ago, the quality of my erections declined, as did the frequency.

I had stronger, harder, and larger erections when I didn't smoke (which I swear I'm quitting for good again soon).

dude, sorry bout the college girl. that sucks. if it makes you feel any better, im 21, and a couple years ago I couldn't get it up for some random slizz that really, really wanted to fuck me. TWICE. on TWO SEPERATE OCCASIONS. It still haunts me to this day.

i doubt smoking helps. I am a smoker too, and I don't excersize. But since that debacle, my dick game has gotten a lot better, so maybe its more a mental block. Did you feel bad about fucking a college girl?

Look, sometimes it happens. But the more you worry about it, the more likely it's gonna happen. The little guy is flukey, and he gets spooked easily. Accept it and move on.

Cigarettes? That's long-term damage to your vascular system. At 33, I don't think it's a problem. But if you don't stop, at 55 it's definitely gonna be a problem.

It's possible that the cigarettes could have an impact on it. I think I heard that somewhere. If it becomes consistent you might want to try quitting - I used Chantix and it worked really fast - I was off them in a few days.

I was shocked to see that you smoked. I'm glad you called it quits, my pornographic poet.:biggrin1:

And lungs.

You never know. I lost my brother at his 36 from acute myocardial infraction, but he was a heavy smoker. Another one I knew died at 42, same cause.

I also hear that too much caffeine may have adverse effects on erections. As a general rule, I try to avoid any "toxin" of this kind (in fact I am 100% free of cigarettes, coffee and alcohol). We have more than enough of other toxins of modern lifestyle in big towns entering our body without our consent and control.

I could almost guarantee you that smoking was the culprit. If not, it didn't help the situation. Did you have a cig after you couldn't get it up? Did that make it better or worse?

As a former smoker.. smoking is about the dumbist thing in the world to do.

Go buy a copy of "The Easy Way to Stop Smoking".... read it cover to cover.... It works.... and in about 4-6 weeks your cardiovascular system will start getting back to normal... erection issues will be come a thing of the past. What a better motivator to quit... no?

First, it is definitely not "freak-out" time.

Anything that acts as a vasoconstrictor will be detrimental to erections. It is well known that smoking and any product that contains nicotine (a vasoconstrictor) is a long term risk to the cardiovascular system.

Erratic blood sugar either low or high and this can be caused by not eating or eating something after a period of unintentional fasting can also play a role.

For the long term I would give serious considerations to making tobacco a part of your past, because if you don't E.D. (which has many causes) can become a part of your future.

People who are unusually large in size as aging takes place are more prone to erectile problems because of the symple hydraulics governing erections. Larger blood volume and more demand based on erectile vascular structures tends to create problems.

From what you have said, you tend to lead a healthy lifestyle in general with the exception of smoking. Also be aware that there are a number of over the counter medications that can affect your noodel too. Most of the worst ones are cough and cold related.

Calm down, don't let your imagination conjure up horrors of a permanently limp noodle and think about all of the things that happened in the 5-7 hour period prior to your meeting the young lady and then the event to follow. Food, tobacco, alcohol, medications, and then come back to us with that too. There may be something obvious that jumps out with that information.

Saying good bye to the smoking in general is a good deal. I do not know how much you smoke, but, if it takes this to get you to give it up, maybe that bout with ED was one of the best things that ever happened to you.

Good Luck. . .

The strength of my erections are directly linked to my diet, mood and level of fatigue.

Did you get too drunk? Eat too much fatty food previously? Drink too much coffee or Coke earlier? Try to fuck her when your body just wanted to sleep?

smoking does damage blood vessels and decreases blood flow... especially to the penis. cigarettes certainly can play a factor in erectile dysfunction

Dude, sorry to hear about the scare. There are a lot of culprits to this type of thing and you might have just been warned about the cigarette smoking.

I don't smoke but I have at at times tired "myself" out from too much working out. (Diverted blood flow + improper nutrition = Mr. Semi Happy) That hasn't happened to me in a long time, but I still take the proper precautions...good diet, combination of loose and tight fitting clothes (especially when running, cycling, hiking), and frequent penis exercises.

smoking worsens your erection in the long term, not at the spot to not get it on. You were probably tired and you wanted this girl a lot, and more so you wanted to want and perform with this girl, and maybe she was frigid but not obviously so, and all the nerve cells and enzymes and hormones combined to give you a very natural not now. Your embarrassment and her reaction are important here. You got the physical aspect covered, the emotional one is another issue. And I am 100% sure that it was her reaction that is bothering you moreso than a single isolated event, and women's reactions there are a lot of times tender and understanding, and in the same time harsh and condescending.

Yeah. It could be any of a dozen or more things. Don't worry overmuch if it's only happened once. If it starts to become a pattern, seeing a doctor is not a bad idea.

It happened to me once and I was 22 and healthy, non-smoker. I wanted to die. But for the most part it was purely mental. The girl simply did not turn me on. I knew this going in but it was one of those "take one for the team" situations. I vowed from that point that I am just not one of those types of guys.
