Started the series but fell off for some reason. What I saw was hilarious. Thanks for the reminder. Seriously have the extra time right now to watch again.

My british comedy recommend is The IT Crowd. Followed by The Mighty Boosh. Coupling cuz Jeff. All are available for streaming.

Of course, Red Dwarf. Not so much the later seasons, but the first few are gold.

Fully agree regarding The IT Crowd. It's even funnier because IT is how I make my living.

Red Dwarf & TMB are fantastic shows!!

British comedy is my wheelhouse, so many recommends... will always love Spaced, Green Wing is awesome (featuring Michelle Gomez at her most unhinged) and That Mitchell & Webb Look is still my favourite sketch show.

If you want to go old school, Blackadder still holds up well (just skip season 1), so does the original Yes Minister, although the wry satire doesn't really translate to batshit insane hellscape that is UK & US politics is in 2020...

Could go on and on but will cease rambling there.

Yes, Minster is fantastic but you need to be up on 80s/90s British government & culture to fully enjoy. Spaced is brill, that's a good pick & some other good ones too.

Errrmm... a few thoughts before I run off to screw...

At the time, I liked:

Rowan Atkinson at his finest - Blackadder (II & III are best)

Outnumbered is a masterful, twisting sit com about families. The little girl is stand out hilarious.

Absolutely Fabulous - by name & by nature.

If you have the stomach, The League of Gentlemen is grotesque and surreal humour.

Absolutely Fabulous should be required viewing. Along with old French and Saunders series/specials.

Spaced gets rebinged when required. Medicinal TV.

The League of Gentlemen gets a thumbs up from me.

My very first Brit-Comedy was fortunately The Young Ones.

The InBetweeners on Netflix, a British sitcom.

I highly recommend it for good fun!

Speaking of The In-Betweeners, I just found out that there were two feature length movies in addition to the three seasons of TV episodes!

I can't wait to watch them. Amazon Prime and other streaming services.
