uncutpete - you disappoint me since we are of one mind. And you usually have intelligent contributions, and I think you didn't read my post.
I did read your post, but I misinterpreted it. I thought you were being dismissive of posts by uncut US guys, whereas you were being sympathetic. Another reason for the greater passion in the uncircumcised Americans might have to do with the outrage at seeing, everyday at the gym for example, the continual senseless cutting of American boys. It is pretty much always in our faces.

I'm uncut and 34 and I have to say I'm so glad about it. When I see guys cut jerking off for some reason it just doesn't look as pleasurable but that's just me. It looks as if it's all friction and rubbing the head so much. But for me being uncut it slides up and down on my head seems so much more pleasurable but I'm biased. Enjoyed this thread lots of different observations. In Kentucky here whole family if guys are uncut.

Sliding foreskin is best feeling.

I'm in my late 50's and since I've joined LPSG, I had no idea there were so many American men with uncut cocks out there! I am cut, and growing up I don't ever remember even seeing another guy my age in the locker room or showers that wasn't cut. Maybe a few older men at the gym or YMCA, but even those were few and far between. I am from the Northeast (PA to be exact), so I'm not sure if this was a regional trend or just a phase that was prevalent for baby boomers born in the late 40's, 50's and early 60's. I had heard that many Hispanics and African Americans were uncut, and that it was the "norm" in Europe, but I am surprised by the number of Caucasian American men my age and younger that are posting pics of their uncut cocks on the site. Is the trend to circumcise on the downturn in America? I'm not making any kind of judgement or advocacy for either.....just an observation. Your thoughts.........
growing up in new jersey in 50's all my friends were cut

Reading all this with interest.....I first showered in a gym setting in the early 60's and, except for a Mexican kid, I was the only uncircumcised person I ever saw. Of course then I was not aware of any of the "issues" concerning circumcision. I only knew I looked different and was sometimes pointed at or stared at and that I sometimes wanted to look like all the other boys. It was nearly the same in the Vietnam era USMC but by then I was a little more aware....and none of the Vietnamese I saw were circumcised so I felt more "normal." Fast forward a bunch of years.....after a lifetime of only knowing a long and "loose fitting" foreskin I don't care about "normal" anymore. I love the "different from the rest" look and am convinced the foreskin itself...on the inside where it's always moist...(which becomes the outside when masturbating or making love)...is a separate and distinct center of sexual arousal and pleasure. OK, start shooting at me, I've been shot at before. But I'm going to write up my observations and experience in a new thread here in the next few days when I come up with a good title and get the time. M

It used to be uncut guys in the US were mostly poor, foreign, or minorities. Then, a few decades ago, add in the liberal/hippie subculture. Recently, wealthy and well educated Americans have gone the way of intact. It would seem the last of the holdouts remain in trailer parks, or are otherwise entrenched in very conservative/white/religious subcultures. It has surely dropped to below 50% for newborns today. On the west coast, it's more like 30%. The highest rates are found in the south and midwest.

The problem with the change is that people seem to be taking up arms to defend their status and their decisions regarding their sons. It is undeniable that the circumcision advocates are losing, and will ultimately lose this battle. In the meantime, it's brutal to hear the arguments.

there was a backlash against a lot of things a few decades ago and one was kids with cut cocks were being referred to as being Jewish, based on a silly preconception that it was only Jews who had the cock chop.
That said intacta is the way it should be, and for the record when the Jews were being persecuted yonks and yonks ago (some would say its never stopped) the rulers decreed that Jews could be identified by showing a circumcised cock, so, it became a nationality badge which, like most things turned to advantage as being for health reasons etc etc etc...and in any case in these enlightened times kids should make up their own mind if they want to be mutilated or not - gentile friend of mine was told my the rabbi when he was going to marry a Jewish girl that circumcision would be preferable his wife to be objected and said she loved everything he had (down there) and didn't want it reduced.......

I think you misquoted your circumcision stats. The West and the South have always had a lower circumcision rate. The Midwest and the Northeast have always had the highest by what I have read. I do know that the foreskin is not uncommon in Southern men.

A good friend of mine was an Airforce Medic during the Vietnam era. He said he saw LOTS of American foreskins. He told me, also, that a lot of Military baby boys were not subjected to the circumcision knife. At least in the hospitals he was stationed at. He was stationed in the Philipines and Hawaii.

I haven't read the whole thread but I'm liking the use of the term intact that I'm seeing.

I think intact is a better term than uncircumcised. Uncircumcised has a subtle meaning that I think a lot of people disregard, that something that is supposed to happen hasn't happened, making circumcised the norm. I think this is completely backwards. A penis in its natural state has a foreskin, while those that have been circumcised are incomplete. Not to offend the circumcised, its just the reality of the situation.

The video that Brodie88 posted aligns pretty closely with what I've read. Circumcision wasn't really that common in the US until around the first world war. When soldiers came back from Europe they start circumcising their kids because of what they had seen overseas. It propagated like a hair style. It seems weird today since the trend still exists in the US while a majority of Europeans are not circumcised. I've seen trends of circumcision in the US and it looks like the trend of brutalizing childrens genitals is declining significantly.

Yeah. We're still an extremely war like people, don't take care of our poor, can't stop shooting black people for no reason, arm terror groups and drug cartels, and have completely sold out our government.

But we're advancing because some people don't cut off useless, dirty skin.
Moez- thank you for that factual depiction of the state of affairs well said

I'm uncut and growing up I was one of very few uncut guys in Jr high and high school. I felt out of place and wished I was cut. I learned quick that it was a plus having foreskin. It's better then any lube when jacking off is fucking great believe me.

I’m glad it’s ending. It destroyed my well-being. I hate being in a country where this is still done. I need to worry about myself but the hypocrisy I see, everyday, makes it hard. I work everyday towards peace of mind.

It's no longer the norm to get circumcised even in the US. As years go by you'll see less and less men with cut cocks
It’s still pretty bad. At least with my generation having kids. However, they are very quick to change their minds when convinced otherwise. At least in my experience. Most just do it because it’s the status quo and don’t question and still don’t understand what they are actually doing when they have it done.

A lot of people still don’t understand things. Such as if you leave your children uncut you don’t retract their foreskins to clean. There are a lot of short skin Americans as a result. They can handle it when they hit puberty or a little before.

Interesting thread. For the longest time I thought because I am uncircumcised it's the reason I'm small. Coming to PE sites and this site I've learned it's got nothing to do with it. I know it's stupid and silly but I know better now. I have never seen an actual penis outside of porn besides my own. Although up until a few years back I understand being uncircumcised has nothing to do with it. Sounds stupid I know. It's all genetics. Some were doomed some were blessed.
