I've noticed on a lot of vids of men cumming (amateur and blogs, not just porn which may or may not be dependably real) that many men seem to shoot a shot or two before their orgasm hits them.
I find this strange as for me its always the other way round in that the first 2 or 3 waves of orgasm have rolled over me before the first contraction of 5 or 6. The orgasm lasting until the final squirt.

Am I alone in this?

Also, does anyone else find their morning wood is so hard in the shaft that it's actually not a lot of fun to toss off with?

Well, that's two questions really, isn't it? Personally, I get around a wave or two of orgasm before I start to physically cum...and yeah, morning wood sometimes is too hard, but it does feel nice to masturbate to it once in a while. I tend to find that my biggest squirts come somewhere in the middle of the pack, not among the first one or two as many other guys report. It's not unusual, if I am very aroused, for me to shoot out 10-15 spurts or even slightly more ... very often in such cases I'll get a giant squirt somewhere around the fifth to tenth one, even as late as the twelfth on one occasion I remember when I was actually trying to keep count. I'm not sure if this signifies when I am really reaching orgasm or just a sort of "second wind."

As far as your morning wood question ... personally, if I have the time, I always feel that raging morning wood is too good to "waste." I haven't noticed that it's any less fun than any other erection!
