I am driving on a main highway and need to turn onto a residentual street. I move to the right and signal a right turn. For some reason, I encounter a jogger jogging on the street against traffic. He spread his arms far apart as if to say 'what the hell are you doing.' I don't understand why he can't jog on the sidewalk. Additionally, if I don't move to the right before turning then cars cannot pass on my left.

Any joggers care to comment on this?

Early in the week driving home I came through the roundabout on a semi busy suburban road, speed limit is 60kph.... In the kerb..gutter just coming out of the roundabout lay a black steel car rim.

Now, it was late in the arv, light was fading and thought that's going to be dangerous. There were plenty of other drivers as well as myself who saw it....I thought about it, went up the road a bit, did a u turn went back, picked it up and placed it in the back of the truck.

The same place two days later a piece of timber 100x75 4x3 by a metre long lay in the middle of the lanes, same thing, drove up the road U turn, came back and picked it up. If a motor bike rider were to hit it at night on a bend, a car flick it up into another.

It was just a coincidence these things were there. But what pisses me off are all the other DRONGO drivers just not giving a rats or bothering to come back and move these objects. I came through a time where if you see something on the road that is a danger stop and pick it up if possible.

One of the things I think about is what if it were one of my kids in the car driving with their kids in the back, or someone else I love, then anyones kids.

What the fuck is wrong with people these days that they are so self centred they think of no-one but themselves that they can't stop for 2 seconds to remove what are obviously dangerous hazards.

It's little things like this which give a huge indicator of what future society we are all in for. A bunch of non caring self centred pricks.
