i love it, though it has very little to do with any kind of "hung sympathy." i just think it's a wonderfully acted and well written show (now that they've picked up the pace a little bit). Thomas Jane has completely redeemed himself for the Punisher now. lol!

Only a few nude shots from the side or back except for the females - a few breasts, but no penises - doubt somehow they will. Thomas Jane is a handsome, appealing man and good actor, but I don't think he's tremendously well-hung.

I agree totally that the show is way too short - interesting story line taking in the economy and struggles of the middle class - a lot more layered than I expected.
Would like to see more and in greater depth.

There's more sex in "True Blood" than in "Hung".
But despite all of that, it still remains a good show with a few good laughs.

As for "the goods"? You get to see plenty of Thomas Jane booty at least once a week since it's part of the intro. And there was much rejoicing from the tops in the audience! YouTube - HBO's HUNG Intro

No glimpse of the dick yet, but as of last week they've been more aggressive in teasing the viewer. I'm sure there will be at least one shot by the end of the season. If they can show as much full frontal on Oz, I'm sure one on "Hung" would be sufficient. Now, whether or not they'll need to put a prosthetic on Thomas Jane remains to be seen. Either way, I know I'm still going to drool. :biggrin1:

I've only seen the first two episodes and I like it so far.

It's interesting that you can market and sell a penis just like any other product.

I think that the writing is great. There aren't too many characters, so the main characters can be developed well. It reminds me of Weeds in this regard. It also reminds me of Weeds as far as the premise goes: the hero, who has a family to support, gets into financial bind and resorts to desperate measures to sustain an income.

Hung is an great dark comedy about a man at the end of his rope. Even though he's night job (he works as a low-paid coach during the day) isn't the most honorable, you find yourself rooting for this underdog as he tries to earn enough money to put is life back together.

I've been a fan of Thomas Jane's since I saw him in the movie, The Punisher. He didn't let me down in The Mist either. He is great at playing a macho-yet-vulnerable hero which is still new to the big and small screens.

I'm surprised to see Anne Heshe in such a small role--outshined by the plain-looking Jane Adams. Adams plays an open-minded poet who could also use some cash and becomes his pimp.

"I used to be a big deal. I used to be going somewhere. Now all I do is try not to drown. When did life become something you buy?" -- Ray from HBO's Hung

Now that we've done a few episodes of character development, we're finally getting to the good stuff, or at least, what I was looking forward to seeing, and that's the trials and tribulations of him actually being a 'ho'. I like it, but I hope we see more of the 'trick', and how he deals with it. When Thomas' character Ray, finally turned off the stiff 'newscaster' voice, and sat Molly down with the smooth, "Let's just talk..." seduction, was when I finally thought, "OK, NOW we're getting somewhere."

P.S. Thomas Jane... sexy as Hell in person!

I've loved Thomas Jane since seeing him play tonsil hockey with the equally hot Vincent D'Onofrio in "The Velocity of Gary." It's a shitty, painful movie redeemed only by those two fooling around.

Good show. However, the last episode does propel the myth that guys with small dicks are jerks. The last episode that had an overweight woman complaining about her husband's teeny weeny. It's kind of interesting that it is okay to judge a man by something he has no control over and yet to make the overweight woman a sympathetic character when in fact she has some control over her weight.

However, it will be interesting to see where it goes and whether or not they show "it" or not. The reaction shots will be priceless I'm sure.

I just wish we could all just enjoy a big penis without necessarily having to encourage derision towards smaller dicks.

I'm a "Hung" fan and seeing it makes me want them to rerun "Oz", where frontal nudity and cocks were shown a few times. Thus far Hung has mostly teased, but seems to be a bit more of it as time moves on. Big Brother's Russel, Jessie, and now Jeff, followed by some hung teasing keeps me invigorated.
