    I knew about the origins of "hysteria," "seminar," and "fundamental," and the derivation of "Venus flytrap" was not hard to guess, but the others were news to me.

    Speaking of Stretch...Hi. I love Etymology....and Avocados. :smile: I actually won a pub quiz one night by knowing that little wrinkly fact about Avocados. Dare I say the others were green with envy...sorry :biggrin1:
