I agree with the fact that the distinction is cultural creation, but I dont agree that it will return to her said "standard primate model".

With our evolution of intellegence, comes the need to compartmentalise. So while standard primates can have a social gelling of mixed sexual practices, it is in our nature to seperate the two in our culture, and I dont think this will change.

Interesting article.

It definitely "breeds" the idea (pardon the pun) that social bonding is of equal if not greater importance than/as social multiplication.
