I don't think it's a case of whether they want to show bush or not. They either have pubes or they don't, probably at least partially dictated by the people who hire them to be in the movies in question. Str8 softcore is notorious for going to great lengths not to show so much as an inch of dick or balls, so it would follow that you don't see much pubic hair on the dudes either.
