A new presidential song: YouTube - (No background music) School kids taught to praise Obama

Of course some of the word were jacked from the song "Jesus Loves the Little Children," they just replace the name Jesus with Barrack Hussein Obama; even though it breaks the melody.

We wonder why people say liberals are brainwashed.

    Um.........It's been done before:

Flashback: Students Sang Bush's Praises Too (And For Katrina Response!)

...Alas, such "propaganda" has not been limited to despots, dictators and the Obama White House. As a savvy source points out, back in 2006 children from Gulf Coast states serenaded First Lady Laura Bush with a song praising the President, Congress, and Federal Emergency Management Agency for their response to -- of all things -- Hurricane Katrina. The lyrics were as follow:
Our country's stood beside us People have sent us aid. Katrina could not stop us, our hopes will never fade. Congress, Bush and FEMA People across our land Together have come to rebuild us and we join them hand-in-hand!...

Flashback: Students Sang Bush's Praises Too (And For Katrina Response!)

Let me get this straight......kids singing a song about the government helping their state is the rough equivalent to this most extreme example of indoctrinating kids to support a cult? That is your response? No. Those two events aren't even close.

Do you see that singing a song that replaces the name Jesus with the name Obama is much much worse than what those gulf state kids did? The song these kids are singing is praise to Obama and only Obama. It's about what a great president he is (of course we all just need to wait to see what great things he is going to do). All you have is that some that kids once mentioned the name Bush in a song. Whoooopdie doooooo! Get some integrity man.

In addition, quoting bad behavior doesn't justify bad behavior. Your presidents supporters are insane, and followers to boot.

They 'praised' Bush and other agencies, for a response to a disaster. What are they praising Barack Hussein Obama for?

at Obama's campaign rally's they shouted "Obama, Obama, Obama." At a McCain rally they shouted "USA, USA,USA." That's the difference between the two items above.

One is all about "Barack Hussein Obama" and the other is about surviving a natural disaster with the help of country.

Why, didn't you read the lyrics. We're celebrating what Obama said. Because, as we all know (even the blinders wearing liberals), he has done nothing.

Another thread with no substance. Guess I'll go read a book. Maybe it'll keep my brain from ossifying and turning me into a Republican.

At Palin rallies they shouted: "Kill him!"

    That's a difference too.

I didn't realize Bush had a response to Hurricaine Katrina. He had to find out about it on the teevee machine. What was his name? Brownie?

I think both are pretty reprehensible. I don't mind my kid being addressed by the president. I do mind my child being taught songs of praise for any politician.

Again we're having trouble with equivalents. One person in the crowd yelling 'kill him' or 'treason' isn't the same as an entire crowd chanting "Obama." Palin isn't responsible for one persons outburst, but Obama is responsible for the message his campaign endorses.

As a side note, it is interesting that the media went bonkers nuts over the 'kill him' that was yelled about Bill Ayers, but couldn't have cared less about the antics of the BO campaign.

So you really think Bush did nothing for the Katrina victims? I mean to the level of not having a response? Bush admitted there was a flaw in the response, but there was a response. Or are you just repeating party rhetoric?

Saturday August 27: Governor Blanco (DEM) asks Bush to Declare Federal Emergency. SAME DAY, Bush Declares it, Gives DHS, FEMA full authorization to respond to the Emergency. (note this was 3 Days before Katrina made landfall).

August 28: 1 Day Before Landfall, Ray Nagin (DEM) orders Evacuation. Bush responded to the State of Emergency Request as soon as the Governor of LA asked for it. Ray Nagin had authority to order Evacuation whenever he wanted. Apparently, it wasn't early enough.

Now, Bush admits the Federal response was inadequate. However, Blanco and Nagin just played the "Not My Fault" Game. In addition, according to Title 10 and Title 32 of the U.S. Code, Blanco had the authority, as Governor, to call up the National Guard whenever she wanted - she simply had to declare a state emergency first, which lies solely under her purview as governor. What was she waiting for?

So sure, Bush has admitted to doing wrong, but Nagin and Blanco are no innocents in the lack of response to Katrina. Of course, the MSM ignored that because they had a (D) after their name on TV.

FWIW, I also don't like children being taught to praise our leaders, it's a little too 1960s China with the children chanting "Mao, Mao, Mao!"

    Damned skippy!

We don't want our kids looking up to the President, especially not a socialist, liberal, half muslim "dictator" like Obama...nosireee. Bush and the former first lady, well that was a different matter.

Shit, we may post jeering threads here ridiculing the disparity between minority and non-minority test scores, but you don't think for one minute we really want all of our youth of America on parity with each other, do ya?

We don't really want kids who are poor (of any race), minority kids, and others whose values regarding education (and their role in society) to get the notion that they can really make a difference, do we??

HELL, next thing you know they'll ALL be wantin' to run for president. We'll have to deal with 100 thousand Obamas, instead of just one....sheeeet!!

Wow... what a silly thing to be getting all worked up over. The way some people are acting, you'd think the school would of had these kids singing a medley of "Bitch Betta Have My Money" and "F**K Tha Police" over the music from Kareem Salama's Greatest Hits or something.

Now, I know this is hard for liberals to understand, but stay on topic.

These kids are clearly being indoctrinated to believe Obama is a good president; which he isn't yet. If you were a respectable person you would acknowledge that had Bush supporters done the same thing you would have been outraged. Instead you post non-sense.

Obama didn't grow up poor. His father could afford to attend U oh Hawaii, as could his mother. He went to private school. This whole grass roots thing is non-sense. Quit acting like the left actually cares for any of the things you list.

Just for the record, I don't want my kids looking up to the president; any president. It's a job, as has recently been discovered by so many liberals who thought it was the papacy.

Yeah, just ridiculous. We should just let the left indoctrinate at will. I mean, what what I thinking?

    ANYWAY, Chicken Little...
Let's check back on these children in a few weeks and see if anyone has converted to Islam, speak in tongues about public options and make some connection with SpongeBob Squarepants to socialism all because all of those words begin with the letter "S". Once that happens, then we can continue this debate and worry about the youth. Otherwise, there's nothing to see here but a bunch of people looking for something silly to bitch about.

Kinda sad when the kids display more intelligence than the adults that protect them.
