The only time I get a yeast infection is after having been on an antibiotic. Many are notorious for causing yeast infections in women. I've been used to what causes that smell my whole life. I can recognize it from anywhere. Some women just dont get it as much as others. Some guys have foreskin and have never noticed smegma, others form it in a day.

Its a sebaceous material we all have the glands for, but they just dont work when exposed to air. Which is why a circumsized penis doesnt form it but will if the glands are covered and remain moist. You are very right about overwashing can tip you over into smellyville. The same thing happens to me and i have to lay off and let it rest or else its a horrible viscious cycle of washing, then washing more, then thinking i didnt wash good enough, so i wash it right out of balance and it gets messed up.
