What three songs do you have in your mp3 or cd collection that you're vaguely embarrassed about loving, I'm hoping no one admits to enjoying listening to Agadoo, the Chicken Song or Startrekkin :)

    Mine are

    Hips Don't Lie - Shakira

Tease Me - Chaka Demus & Pliers

    Sweat - Inner Circle

They're quite good songs but not very grown up :)

For me it's Game of Love by Michelle Branch. A total piece of disposable fluff, but I occasionally get caught tapping my foot to it.

    A deplorable attitude.

It's no big deal to like good songs. Shoot, everybody does. But it takes real dedication to learn to love the really bad stuff. Not everyone has that sort of determination.

I have had to explain my way around an entire Annette Funicello album.

That damn thing was very hard to get. People who don't appreciate that make light of this stuff.

[Edit - Removed amusing anecdote which would have allowed those in the know to determine my Secret Identity with a mere google search]

    We are the world

I don´t know exactly why, but i tend to not mention them when somebody ask me which songs i got in my mp3.

I really like the three

    Men Without Hats "Safety Dance"

    Sugarhill Gang "Scorpio"

I have made some cool personal remixes of my tunes with snippets of these tracks.

The infamous William Shatner record has a special place in many a collection, I'll bet. Far too memorable to throw out.

    Uh-Oh ==== The Nutty Squirrels
Torn Between Two Lovers ==== Mary Mac Gregor
    Nearsighted ==== Rupert Holmes

Perhaps most embarrassing is that I have all of these on vinyl as well. Uh-Oh is a 45 I still own which was inherited from a deceased half-sisters record collection. Torn between Two Lovers is from the first album I ever bought, K-Tel: Emotions. Nearsighted is from the Partners in Crime album by Rupert Holmes.

I admit it I am a geek for vinyl and still own a functioning record player.

Wow. I did NOT see that coming.

Double Wow. You're one Whitney Houston ballad away from being on my team Knockernail!

I guess I have a few questionable choices of my own...

 I'm gay and Canadian, so you know this one is coming. I won't even bother to name a song, I'll just confess that I own a few of her records.
Celine Dion. There, I said it.

  More gay shame. Cher's Believe

   Oh the humanity. Please don't tell anyone else this. Clay Aiken's A Thousand Different Ways :headbang:

Kotchanski anyone who really likes those songs is either a serial killer or needs therapy :)

Gillette OMG we printed the words of that out at work to sing it so we could all really annoy our colleagues, I can't help loving it myself.

Anyone ever buy those records advertised on late night UHF TV? Boxcar Willie's Greatest Hits, Disco Italiano, Roger Whittaker, Boots Randolph, Dennis Day, etc?

Musically, I like what I like, I don't believe there's anything to be embarassed about, I don't adhere to any particular genre

That said... there are songs in my library I wouldn't necessarily mention unless asked specifically

BassHunter - Vi Sitter Her I Venten Och Spelar Dota
Swedish trance music is good :)

    Within Temptation - Our Farewell
    I'm not afraid to cry...

Sam the Sham - Wooly Bully
    I don't even know why I like this :biggrin1:

Where Have All The Flowers Gone by Marlene Dietrich. And, really, all the songs that I have of her's.

Will You Be There by Michael Jackson (It's the song that comes out at the the end of the movie Free Willy 2).

Put A Little Love In Your Heart by Annie Lenox and Al Green.

It's not so much that they aren't good songs, it's just that they aren't considered cool by most people that I know, so I'm embarrassed to let it be known that I like them, to most people around me.:rolleyes::biggrin:

BTW, Spoiled Princess, Hips Don't Lie is my favorite song at the moment!

Man, this is even more personal than gallery pics.

I've never been able to talk myself into deleting Glad All Over by the Dave Clark Five.
