I know. That IS a song that chokes me up. Listen to the words. It's a beautifully deep song, and brings a lump to my throat... sometimes a tear to my eye. Just happens to be a metal song.

If I was gonna post a metal song just as a metal song, I'd choose something more along the lines of Cannibal Corpse or Dying Fetus :headbang:

Anyway, sorry if it's not a welcome song.

Yep, that song brings me to tears. Every time.

The other one that brings me to tears is "One Sweet Day" by Mariah Carey. That was played at a funeral of someone I was once very close to. I can't listen to that song at all nowadays.

Yes, that's another one that'll get me going. Me and my dog cried together to that song when we lost my other puppy last year. My dogs are my best friends, so yeah. I'm tearing up typing this.

I'm sorry you lost your friend. My <3 goes out to you.

Whiskey Lullaby makes me emotional, I remember hearing it for the first time and I broke down, I guess it reminds me of things.

2. It is Well with my Soul

Even though this is a Hymn, I remember hearing how powerful it sounded in the church with everyone singing.

It stirs up emotion in me because growing up I played a piano, gave it up and stopped...so many years later I was asked to play this at a funeral, so I practiced again for 3 days until I got it right.

Whiskey Lullaby is a fantastic song. Jon Randalstown wrote it and his version is superb
