I'm uncircumcised, and after a round of sex, the foreskin will be a little sore, sometimes sore enough that I can't motivate for a second round. It kinda feels like my penis has been beat up. After the second round, I'm done, as it's too sore to consider another round for at least 8 hours or more (overnight).

I know it's not simply a long refractory period because using a vibrator I have reached orgasm with ejaculation five times over a few hours.

Any other uncut guys experience this? Any tips?

i've had soreness and a bit of swelling before...once i even went to a dr because the pain didn't go away & there seemed to be a lump on my shaft about 1.5 inches from the head...

after a verbal consultation with the doc, he said he needed to take a look, so i pulled it out & he looked...then he took it into his hands & felt around a bit...then he asked if i'd had any recent "activity" that might have been particularly rough...I said yes & he chalked it up to that, prescribed some anti-inflammatory meds & told me to call him if the pain & swelling didn't resolve in a day or two....

i've found that using condoms every time offers some protection against the skin irritation...see if that helps you.

And then are you done after that? Or do you push through the pain for another round?

Condoms seem to help, but only if I put on a little lube before putting on the condom.

I don't think so, it pulls back pretty easily, always has. And there's not much foreskin anyway, not enough to fully cover the head when erect.

IMHO, maybe it's because friction between the moving cock and the inner wall of the vaginal canal causes the skin to get overirritated.
How about more application of lube?

It could be due to lack of sufficient lubrication... it happens to me sometimes, but always after a prolonged (and usually a bit more ruff) session, say 45 minutes or more...
However, for me, it's enough to take a shower afterwards, apply some gentle body milk (it cools the skin to an extent) to the outside of my cock and to the balls... and I'd be good to go another round in an hour or so...

Have you ruled out a yeast infection?
Anything which works for a woman, should work on you.
You would both need to be treated.
It would cost the pair of you something like $30. It's worth exploring.

My foreskin has been sore before but that was because I never took my hand off my cock and kept jacking off. I learned my lesson and never did a marathon jack off session again.

No, it's not a yeast infection, I've experienced this for years, since I started having sex.

I've always thought it was normal to be a little sore after sex, and thought it was just part of my refractory period, which I assumed was longer than average. So I rarely went for second rounds the same night. It's only after using a vibrator that I realized I can have multiple orgasms (3 or more) over a few hours. With the vibrator, there's no foreskin soreness, so it's a better measure of my true refractory period.

Now if only I can figure out how to get rid of the soreness. As I mentioned in an earlier post here, lubing up before putting on the condom seems to help a bit. And I use silicon lube, so that should last a long time. But that's as good as I've gotten it, which is sometimes good enough to leave me feeling up to a second round, but sometimes not.

Never heard of it. Is it a vitamin A and vitamin D ointment? Or something else?

If it is because of his swollen skin, have you ever thought about the cause of it?
Maybe, irritation due to friction? or something else maybe.
I believe that proper prophylaxis is much better than good treatment.

It used to happen to me with older gals and marathon sessions, but it was solved by keeping lube handy, or eating her out at intervals, just to keep "the juices flowing"

Long sessions leave my foreskin kidna sore too - know what you mean

I think it's the friction/movement drying out the foreskin combined with the length of time I have my erection for

It's generaly only a very temporary thing

Had the same problem long time ago. Condoms did not help completely. i'm NOT going to advise that, but circumcision mostly solved it. Please don't turn thread in circ pro&con. It's just way i did it.
