typical tool------- sounding should not make one leak urine but sounding can and often does stir up the prostate and related glans which will leak some clear liquid afterwards. Your dick leaking would not be related to sounding unless you are sounding all the way up past your urethral sphincter into your bladder.

This is not a generally good idea unless you have the equipment to maintain sterile sounds, sterile lubricants, and are gloved as it can introduce bacteria into the bladder and give you one hell of an infection.

Another thing to keep in mind is to NOT use ordinary objects to sound... you want to invest is some nice surgical sounds of surgical steel that can be properly cleaned and have no nooks and crannies in which bacteria can hide.

Very good advice indeed - I bought a set of sugical steel sounds (Heger) and always make sure they are exceedingly clean and never force a size to big. Probably the best substitute for real sounds are anodized aluminum knitting needles that are available in the sewing dept. at Kmart or Walmart. They come in a variety of diameters, are metal so they won't accidently break and can be easily sterilized. They also have a very smooth surface. The thickest ones are a #15 or about 3/8". The larger they get, the rounder the insertable end gets and only cost about $5 a set of 2.
