Just a bump for this thread, as it would be wonderful to see numerous of Jason's friends and admirers a week from this coming Saturday evening.
If you live in the area, as many of you do, please consider dropping in, and if you're visiting the area or can make it down for the Meet-N-Greet, that would be wonderful, too.

Mem is in New Jersey due to a family crisis and will be unable to attend the meet-n-greet planned for this Saturday, to his regret.
I'll leave it up to you who have planned on attending if we should postpone it or go forward as planned. My personal vote is to go forward with this one and plan another later in the spring, perhaps when Lex and Bubba come down for one of their much-anticipated visits.

I'm definitely still up for this Saturday. In fact, very much looking forward to it.
Later in the spring sounds great, too. As for remembering our friend Jason, we can certainly toast him this weekend and maybe a weeknight next month... his birthday is March 10, a Wednesday, and I plan to be around.
I'll miss Mem and others who can't make it this weekend. Hope all is OK.

I'm all for that. Mem and I try and see each other at least once a month, but it's not some exclusionary "date night". The more the merrier; I'll PM you (and anyone else who'd like to join us) next time we have dinner.

Hey babe, are you home already? If so, you must've flown! It was really wonderful to meet you, Bbucko, TopDudeFtl & s.o. and hung9mike at tonight's Meet N Greet. I hope we'll do this again next month with Nick8, Lex and lots of others.
To those who couldn't make it: after a fun dinner at a very busy Humpy's Pizza, we raised a toast to Jason_els at Georgie's Alibi, then settled in for a comfortable chat at the outdoor bar.
