It's a short drive to NOLA and it's not too expensive to stay here. A lot of guys from Mississippi spend their weekends down here. Plus we're always glad to have you because we think the Southern accents are cute (Louisiana people for the most part don't have them).

Where would suggest in that area? I am real new here and don't know much of what is arounf. I am not a college student, but I am learning new tricks.

Well if you like history and stuff, you're only an hour from Natchez which is a really cool city and has a nice small (cheap) winery. As for NOLA, just find you a cheap place to stay in the quarter and walk.
