Lately I've developed a real desire to grow Spaghetti Squash in my garden for my kitchen.

It's captured my imagination and I'm utterly intrigued by the whole notion of a Squash giving me an end product that is a substitute for pasta.

I admit I've never grown it before so I'm asking the membership what it tastes like, and for growing and cooking tips.

Thanks,
~DF20.

They are a good substitute for pasta but if you do not like fried squash you may not like them. They can be prepared 2 ways boiling whole until tender, or cut in half and baked cut side down until tender. Then pull strands out with a fork and serve with your favorite pasta sauce.
