this forum, it seems to me, is mostly dedicated to guys rating other guys. but maybe it’d be fun, and certainly interesting, to have guys rate THEMSELVES.

i devised the accompanying chart based on the now famous (and scientifically determined) BJU study, which found that the average erect penis was 5.17” (bone-pressed or measuring from the pubic bone to the tip). i’m not saying my chart is perfect, but i tried to make it reasonable, based on scientific findings.

of course, girth is something else, and i’m not sure how to develop a poll concerning both; perhaps one should declare one’s girth in a written response. keep in mind that the BJU study lists average erect girth (measured at the thickest part of the penis) to be 4.59” (!).

maybe i should get things going. i’ve measured myself and been measured by others many, many times, so apologies for being geeky.

i’ve hit 9” BPEL before, usually after significant edging. i’m at least 8.75” BPEL every time, though. so, i’ll call myself a “Monster.” ;)

my girth varies: 6.5+” BEG, 5.5” MEG, and 6” at the head. i’ll call it 6”.

I’ll join you with the being geeky bit. I, too, have measured and remeasured. All for scientific rigor, of course! :p

I’ve hit almost 8” BPEL, but my most frequent shy of 7.5”. So based on the above, I’m in the huge category.

As for girth, like you, mine varies: 6” BEG and 5.5” MEG. But like length, it has been bigger.

I don’t consider myself huge at all but that’s where I fall in the categories listed above.

I’ve been having some BPH, ED and higher BP issues and have noticed my erections are shorter and smaller in girth, in addition to not being as hard or long lasting. I’m on new meds so let’s hope this is a short term problem.

Same problem here, only mines pretty serious. Pretty much don't get hard at all any more, but definitely still horny as hell, and thank God can still cum! (Just takes me a bit longer.) Thinking about eventually getting implant surgery down the road.

Others? No one is right on the average (5.2”)? No one of ineffable dimensions?

Sorry to hear that. I no longer cum and honestly the orgasm has become a non-event and anticlimactic, no pun intended.
I’ve been trying a pump. It plumps me up but I don’t get hard, just squishy. My sex drive has fallen off a cliff since there’s really no big payoff anymore. Even masturbation is boring because there’s no bang, just barely a whimper.

@OKCLane and @Jacker55, how old were you when you first started having the issues you noted?

I was 30 (now 55) when I was first diagnosed with BPH. My issues have really gotten worse over the last five years.

I was in my mid 40s, when I started noticing. Viagra helped a lot then. But at about 50 I had a heart attack, so no more Viagra! So of course it got worse. Now I'm 63, and its non existent! But like I said, I still can cum. Mainly cuz I'm persistent at it, and worked out good ways to jack off to ensure that!

So sorry to hear that, bro! I have always been concerned that it could go that way for me too. So far so good though. I still have pretty intense orgasms. Like I said above, I've actually worked at making sure I masturbate fairly regularly, and work at it in a way to get the pay off. Some times it doesn't work, but usually does. Good luck to you buddy!

Interesting. So far, nearly 45% of our respondents declare themselves “huge” (7-8”). Percentage wise, that’s a high number compared to what science has concluded for men in general. But maybe it’s about right for this site (?). Another large percentage runs from “above-average” to “big” (5.25-7”). Thus roughly 90% of the guys on the site are in those three categories.

Small sample-size, unfortunately, but notable all the same...
