Well they would it would just depend on the venue... like at a public lap swimming pool, or a fitness center pool, or maybe even a hotel/resort pool..
Basically it would only be successful in locations where people "have" to have swimwear, and if it was someones only option.. Also the machines do seem to have squarecuts in them, so its possible that trunks could be an option depending on the venue..
This is true, but they are reasonably priced and if its someones only option, hopefully they can guess on their size enough to get close enough at least to be able to wear it for the day.
Now if we could only bring back speedo mandatory swimming pools in the USA, now then there would be a serious market of people getting caught off guard...
may explain why such machines exist at pools in France. Apparently, foreign visitors are caught off-guard by the "Speedo-style only" rule enforced at some French pools.
