One thing in particular. I was more of an accomplice and hadn’t wanted to be part of it, but I still somehow got dragged into it.

I’m gonna have to say Porto. The Avenida Dos Aliados, the city’s center, puts me in a state of awe every single time. To be fair, I’m a Northerner and have only been to Lisboa once, but the Torre de Belém found a special place in my heart.

I’ve only been on a ferry a couple of times, but I really enjoyed it, so I’m going to have to say by sea.

I had a horrible crush on a best friend of mine from the 8th grade up until the beginning of the 12th grade. He was beautiful, tall, smart and just naturally fit—the guy wouldn’t walk a block, let alone run a lap, but he was always in shape. He stopped talking to me the summer between the 11th and 12th grades for no given reason. He didn’t know I was gay nor did he suspect it, we had been getting along much better than usual and he didn’t even bother to tell me to fuck off or something. I stupidly called him and knocked at his door for days before I finally got the message. Once school started, he had developed some sort of deep-seated hatred of me and would constantly harass me. Today he’s a miserable cunt whose friends no longer talk to because he has suicidal/homicidal thoughts and is purportedly a homosexual.

If I were a superhero my name would be DiscoBoy and I'd possess the ability(ies) to magically (superpowerly?) summon up a dance floor, disco ball and music by Donna Summer & the Bee Gees to dance this evil world into world peace. My sidekicks would be Hilaire, Joll, senor rubirosa and yourself, madame Katt if you'd be so inclined to join us. Hiliare and Joll would be back-up dancers and you'd be up front with me to add a little feminine flair. rubi would keep careful watch and critique our form and technique to make sure we never lost our groove.:tongue:

I was really young the first and only time I saw Hook; five or six, I think, and we caught it on TV. I loved him then as Peter Pan, but mostly because his voice reminded me of the Genie from Aladdin (I didn't make the connection).

Pour maple syrup on my pancakes, shovel snow, play hockey, toboggan off a self-created 'snow ramp' and apparently I say 'aboot'.

It bothers me for the most part. Some people can be so unnecessarily rude. Although, some of the homeless people can get aggressive and demand money as you walk by them, so I feel little-to-no sympathy for them.
