I originally used the username 'ArmyMule' because that was a comment that a girl once made to me (you're hung like an army mule). It wasn't something I'd heard before, and I thought it was funny as well as complimentary. However, I started getting a lot of PMs about what military unit I was in, etc., so I changed it.

Bigger than mine, which would make sense, because the average mule is a lot larger and heavier than the average Mule.

Hmmm... There are lots of things that set the Midwest apart from the rest of the United States. The culture is known to be very down-to-earth and pragmatic, yet kind and welcoming. There is generally a strong sense of community here. There are lots of wide open spaces and varied landscapes, and of course there are the spectacular thunderstorms. I live in an area that straddles both the Midwest and the start of the South, so there's an interesting mixture of history and attitudes - most are not nearly as negative as the stereotypes might have you believe.

No, because I was born and raised in England. Hee Haw didn't make the leap across the Atlantic, and the first time I saw it was a few years ago. It's too dated and has too many American-centric jokes for me to find all that funny.
