Alice in Borderland? I also thought the two concepts were very similar, and both shows came out in a relatively short time frame. Honestly I'm not sure Squid Game deserves all the hype. It's pretty good, but it's not THAT good.

With that said, I do agree the show is full of eye candy.

Gong Yoo (studly salesman who likes to slap people) and Lee Doo Seok (math teacher) both really caught my eye

Yes, that was the one. It had an interesting premise but lost steam for me when they killed off most of the original group.
