Just a reminder to turn your clocks back one hour on November 1.
and Christmas is two months away!
No clock changing in HI and I think AZ! My holiday shopping is done, the cards are finished and stamped and waiting to be mailed the day after Thanksgiving. Don't hate me I knew I was going to be busy and I started multi tasking a few months ago.
We changed our clocks this morning.
Shouldn't you be reminding us a bit closer to the date in question?
Do you have your tree up yet?
I hate the time change. You are correct about AZ.
No I don't usually do that until around the 17th of December, I put on a leather harness and pop a holiday movie in the DVD player and am the naked elf for the day!
My VCR changed it's clock by itself. I guess this was our old day to switch the clocks and it was changed to a later date. I had to change the clock manually and turn of the DST feature.
Did anyone open the attachment??? The thread was just a ploy to post the pic.
Yes I did, I'm sorry I did not comment, but I turned the clock back and went back to bed to fuck for an hour.
You're insane. [Although most of my shopping is done as well; I do it through out the year]
Loved the attachment, Rico. What else is there to do? Why do they even have Standard Time?!
Same here, and it's all dark and horrible in the evening now.
I think IN is not changing either...
Yeah that sucks. The only benefit for me is that in Florida, since we are closer to the Equator than the Northeast, where I grew up, we get almost an extra hour of sunlight in the winter.
Heheh, that sounds cool!
I don't know what's worse: Dark at 3pm in winter or barely dark at all in summer messing up the body clock.
:rant:Most useless idea since edible drawers, imfo. Leave the frekin' time alone! SHIIIT!!
Ah... but the time change makes it easier to get up earlier in the winter months.
Gotta Beat the dumbshits to the road before they clog it up when the snow flies.
It will add to the fun of the weekend. Halloween, The NY City Marathon and an extra hour of sleep...at least for that first night.
ch ch ch ch changes!
