See, now, I know who Star Jones IS, partially because of the spoofs on SNL (FUNNY&#33 and an occasional mention on the Daily Show around the marriage time, so I'm not one to say regarding her or The View.

But I'd have to say that reality TV leaves me cold too. Scripted TV works for me (if it's good).

(Speaking of scripted stuff, did you guys enjoy the movie "Closer"? I thought the script was fantastic--you can tell it was adapted from a play--I like "stagey" stuff like that.)

Of course, criticizing reality TV is pretty unfair for me to say---with my job, "prime time TV" has sort of been off the menu for me. I do run the "Law and Order" reruns from TNT in the background some nights, though.
