Have you ever done it (with your own ass I mean) with other girls, boys, or any other gendered person?

I ask this because I know a lot of heterosexual men fear any play of their anus at all. I believe it's because they think of it as too emasculating. Our society is structured in a hegemonic way, including masculinity. Hegemonic masculinity of the day has effeminate characteristics as homosexual, so a lot of men avoid such characteristics. Do you think anal play is considered an "effeminate characteristic"? Why or why not?

The fact of the matter is, men have the prostate gland up in the ass, meaning anal play feels good for men. Women have no such gland giving them pleasure up there. I guess what I am trying to say men have a much stronger material basis to enjoy anal play than women do.

So tell me, what do you think of all this? Personally, I believe a lot of heterosexual men to think lowly of anal play for no good reason. Take a lesson the "gays" have learned well; anal play is HAWT!!!

I've done it to myself a few times, and I've had a few girlfriends do the same.

Also, I've known a few women who expressed that anal sex felt incredible for them, so I wouldn't necessarily argue that the prostate gland is the only source of pleasure there.

me and a old ex girlfriend did it a few years back. we were both super drunk and she kept on trying to put her finger in my ass while i was getting a bj. i let her do it but honestly didnt get much sensation, maybe because i was drunk. let me also add she went to town on my ass lol. like full on 100mph finger thrusting.

the funny thing is i still talk to her to this day... and she always puts up a front like shes a good girl. whenever i bring this up she turns bright red and tells me to shut up :)

i definitely felt weird about her doing it but she wanted to so bad (not the first time) so i let her do it. as far as it making me feel less of a man... i cant comment. i just dont enjoy things up my butt, thats just my preference.

Really? He seemed to answer your first question quite clearly and straightforwardly.

If you notice I have a minimum of three questions in my original post.

me and a old ex girlfriend did it a few years back. we were both super drunk and she kept on trying to put her finger in my ass while i was getting a bj. i let her do it but honestly didnt get much sensation, maybe because i was drunk. let me also add she went to town on my ass lol. like full on 100mph finger thrusting.

The topic makes you feel uncomfortable? Your answer here sounds like a cop out to me. You do not give any answer other than "I just don't enjoy it".

Even if that is "your preference" and is a completely legitimate response, it still doesn't answer my question. I want to know straight's mens thinking here concerning both their personal experiences AND their way of thinking. Do you view anal play on men, even if it is another female, to be emasculating? Why or why not?

"Put up a front like she is a good girl?" What does this mean? Is there something wrong with a girlfriend wanting to finger fuck their boyfriends? What if that's HER personal preference? It sounds like you really don't like the idea of it to me...I wonder why not (a question I already psoed in my original post)...

ive done it once. does it make me feel like less of a man? no.

like i said, i cant really answer your question because it was a one time occurrence.

and yes put up a front. like we're good friends now... i still flirt with her to play around. and she says "im not nasty like that, we're friends" (now add punchline), and the laughes start coming.

I don't understand; I pointed out a detail you missed. I purposely did so in a scientific tone in order to insinuate nothing other than the mistake made. Could you be more specific with what you perceived as attitude and why?

The tone seemed snide to me, but I'll take your word that it wasn't your intent. It's not always easy to read written text at the tone it was intended.

I don't think it's effeminate at all. If anything, it feels the opposite to me. I find the act itself a little distasteful (having one's finger inside an orifice that poop moves through).

As such, having a woman who's willing to overlook that for the sole purpose of enhancing how good sex feels for me is flattering and makes me feel like more of a man (for having landed such a catch of a woman).

(Although to be fair to her, she says she enjoys feeling the contractions when I cum so I may be painting the act in a less pleasant light than she sees it).

I must say: it can be very exciting exploring that part of my body with hands and/or mouth. I found it very intimate to be touched at that sensitive spot. Not distastefull at all if you are clean ond feel comfortable with eachother and have both the same attitude to try and find out whether it is a enhancing your sex life. Agree with pornsurfer its flattering if a woman is willing to enhance your sexlife. And if she doesn't like it, it's not exciting for me either.
It's definitely not for everyday but for special moments, but I vote for YES!!!

Smaccoms, I've seen a few post of it's and it seems like all u do is bitch at the guys that reply to the thread. U may not intend to but u come across as snatch with an attitude. Just be appreciative of the feed back u get rather than degrading every one that gives their opinion on ur thread.

.... find your ass ( use both hands, if you need to).... pull your head out of it..... take your smarmy attitude... and put it where your head just was.

Anal play can be a lot of fun and feels great. I have done it to myself with a toy or fingers, and my wife has done it to me (she loves that :) ).
I do not think it is effeminate at all - men and women both have anuses, right? It's all about sensation, in my opinion.
Direct prostate stimulation is certainly something that might make it more interesting to a man, but that requires just that - direct stimulation. Having something in your ass involves more feeling than just the prostate. Sex is about intense feelings, emotional and physical. There are too many labels in life to let them mess up sex. People get hung up on stuff and miss out on all sorts of fun. enjoying ass play doesnt make you a little gay, but so what if it did?
It's all a continuous spectrum of pleasure within agreed on boundaries. For us, the boundries are monogamy and not getting arrested. Lol So we flow from me on top to 69 while I fuck her pussy with a dildo to her straddling me and fucking my ass to me in her ass with a fat toy in her pussy to her kneeling sucking on me and fucking my ass to me whipping her with a stick to me cumming on her on the beach to exposing her pussy to a trucker to making her cum with my fingers on a beach while people walk by to...the next thing that feels good and arouses us.
