I've always hated running, but the gym is closed, and I have a very quiet park (basically a wilderness area in manhattan, lucky me) nearby... I've been going for about 4 weeks now, started slowly and getting a little better, I wonder if i can keep it up after the lockdown, also did a couple yoga videos from amazon.
I have found that these are much more useful for anxiety than lifting weights, and hopefully i lose some of this weight, cause I'm cooking up a storm

I commend you for taking that up, even though you hate it. It's good for the heart and mind and a sure way to burn fat. I also enjoy running (I used to run track so...), but I don't do it as much because it'll mess up my gains. I lose weight very easily, some might think that's a good thing. Depends on how you look at it.

Pace yourself and let your body build up strength and your let your lungs acclimate. This is not the time to get injured. I'm running regularly for the first time in years as well since my pool routine isn't an option. But I limit myself to just 2 miles at a time to keep my joints from betraying me.

Stay safe and healthy in NYC

Since the whole COVID quarantine started, I have also started running. I am doing 6 miles per day.

I have colleagues, who live in a high rise building. They have started using the staircase as their stair master, and, won't return to a gym, when this is over; instead, they will remain with the stairs in their building. There is never a line up to use the stair case.
