Starting a JO Club

I'm interested in starting a JO club in my area (southern Illinois).
I used to be in the Chicago Jacks in Chicago, but I don't know if they still exist.

Have you ever been a member of a formal JO club? If so, how was it? If you have ever started such a group, how would you suggest that I go about starting one of my own?

Would also like to hear about any other JO groups that are still existing.

get some info from an existing group. define your purpose and mission based on the info you receive then post on Craig's List and local gay papers.
