Now, I'm not normally an advocate of litmus tests, but I'd consider slavery and genocide a pretty important litmus test.

Moral relativism and turning a blind eye with a side of opportunistic selfishness. All spread on a bed of no respect for the intelligence and moral character of the American people. (SUPERSIZE THAT PLEASE!)

These are a few of my favorite evil things!

How long will it be before people here on this forum will start disappearing for the comments made here or reporters start disappearing for reporting the things they know.

I am appalled to thing that we as a "Christian nation, the Land of the Rightwing Fundie Christians" are selling out the Christians in the Sudan. But wait, those are Coptic Christians, they aren't fundie Christians. Oops. My mistake.

I've always wanted to meet you, but the detention center isn't exactly the place I had in mind. Though I'm sure if they raid this place, we will be the first to go.

I can't help but wonder how the sudanese themselves feel, about THEIR government selling out their own religious whackos to the enemy religious whackos.

politicial incest produces the ugliest offspring of all, and I think the american and sudanese governments are about to find out the hard way (yet again).

This is not news. The U.S. has also received anti-terrorism help from Syria, Libya, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, and Iran. None of them is known for treating their people well. Sudan just happens to be in the middle of a killing spree that people know about right now.

Shhhhhh! You weren't supposed to say Saudi Arabia, home of the Bin Ladens. We aren't really in covert meetings with them. *sticks fingers in ears and sings "Hail to the Chief"*

I said "Try to act surprised." Personally, I'm surprised LPSG's Republican contingent hasn't popped up like a bunch of little Serdar Argics.

jonb..

The travesty, is not so much that the polititions at the most senior level in our government are sadly lacking morals and are very opportunistic thinking for today and themselves types,

but that.........51% of votes allegedly cast in the presidential folly, SUPPORTED the same, keeping THEIR leaders inhouse to continue having their way with the world.

I couldn't believe it then, and I still cannot imagine what has happed to the good within our country.

Divided we are..............and isolated in the world, though we are still too powerful to really suffer because of it.

jon,

The State Department is notorious for cozying up to dictators. Historically, we have tended towards dictators we could "work with" as opposed to chastising those who terrorize their own people. Sudan is a new low even for State, however. Millions of people have died.
