Being a fit, attractive guy, joining in on their fun is up to them, and you are not doing anything wrong by being there. If they wanted privacy, they'd go to a room, and if they wanted you to join, they'd wave you over or nod yes. Otherwise, enjoy the show. Maybe not in Europe, but in America due to lame puritanicalism, gyms don’t look too kindly on nudity. At a minimum, you have to feign like you’re wearing a towel.

Gyms do not like the idea of bare bottoms sitting on steam room benches . So , you sit on the towel - nothing says you have to have the towel wrapped tight .Learn to read the room , look at the others and just scratch or adjust your package. If others do the same, proceed

In every steam room I've been in there was a water hose to use before you sit down and when you leave to clean the bench, so there are no problems of hygiene.

I always feel overdressed wearing a towel or swim shorts in a steam room, but most gyms and hotels in the UK insist on it these days. Fortunately, I live near Brighton where there are several naturist or gay orientated spas, and I can enjoy the steam room naked. And if I like the look of the company laid out opposite, it's only a short journey upstairs where the fun happens.

In the steam room at our gym at work, guys enter with a towel and place that on the bench before they sit down completely naked. No one seemed uncomfortable in that environment.

I have question about public hook-ups. I've witnessed several, but never done it myself. It seems like, once two guys start, pretty much anyone can join in. But what do you do if you're not open to allowing just anyone to participate?
