Well, he's not very talented as a performer. And I don't mean that as an insult. It's just my critical opinion. He's not a great actor that you can see versatility or range in. He's just a good looking guy, who's physically fit and can bring that physical prowess to the roles he's given. Nothing wrong with that. There's an audience for that and that has been his audience so far.when working for The CW was your career highlight…

Let's hope one day in the not-so-distant future, when he realizes the well has run dry, he uses that physical prowess in an independent gay film as a self-loathing top who struggles with his internal homophobia until he meets someone who shows him the light! His performance will be shit but we won't exactly be watching for the Shakespeareian performance.![]()
Not sure if intentional or not - but you're describing Dante's Cove to the teeth here.Let's hope one day in the not-so-distant future, when he realizes the well has run dry, he uses that physical prowess in an independent gay film as a self-loathing top who struggles with his internal homophobia until he meets someone who shows him the light!

this is still extremely successful. Only 2 percent of actors manage to make it. So to be able to land a gig at CW and for your show to go on for 8 years is quite good. Most actors would kill for thatwhen working for The CW was your career highlight…

Don’t forget all the movie flops that are on his resume. The reality is somewhere in the middle. Arrow was successful for at least the first few years of its run, and Amell certainly has more money than most of us probably ever will, but as a result he also has a much more expensive lifestyle to maintain, and money can run out very quickly. CW success doesn’t necessarily translate into outside success, and the cancellation of Heels doesn’t bode well. Similarly his little scabbing controversy during the strike probably won’t help his career. So basically both things are true. He has been successful definitely, but his career is in the danger zone right now, and he probably also needs to bring in as much money as he can, despite being pretty rich by normal person standards.
Geez. Let’s just pick apart his entire career. How many movies were you in? Just objectify him. No need to be rude.Don’t forget all the movie flops that are on his resume.

What movie flops? He hasn't been in that many movies, but the ones he's been in have turned a profit
For example:
"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows" (break even was 200M, and it made 245M + 25M DVD/Blu-Ray sales)
Do you have any idea how much he makes from conventions? He runs them for a reason.169 episodes of a CW show nobody watched. If he was rich, he wouldn’t be doing conventions every weekend and doing whatever this is.
The films didn't flop because of Amell though, he wasn't the one carrying the films. People just weren't interested in seeing yet another 80's franchise get treated like shit by Michael Bay's production companyView attachment 120488961
It was also a flop with both critics and audiences and this incarnation of the franchise was abandoned.
