I think they wanted to channel Gabriel Macht's character (Harvey Specter), who was always clean shaven and sleek. But I just don't think that look works for Stephen. He needs at least a bit of a scruff.

Plus the other guy on the show has a big beard already, so they couldn't have two guys with beards.

They need to find an excuse for his character to grow a beard. This look is just not working for him!

Don't worry, the way the ratings are looking, the show is gonna be canceled long before they even get to think about course-correcting on the facial hair

I already said it when you don't have the charisma of the original protagonists you have to replace it with shirtless scenes for Stephen Amell
I haven't kept up on how it is doing in the ratings. So as predicted the ratings are not good?

wasnt a big fan of the show at first and how they’re making him the next harvey spectre but i admit its kinda growing on me. Still not as good as the og but its not that bad tbh
Thanks for this. So the ratings have continue to go down on each episode. Not a good sign at all. This can go two ways. NBC wants to save face and give it another season due to their total misinterpretation of the resurgence on Netflix or cancel after the season wraps.
