I use to be skinny and couldn't turn chicks' heads worth a crap. After I put on weight in all the right places (I'm about 20 pounds overweight) I turn heads all the time. Plus PEing has helped me create a bulge. So yes, I think most women do prefer guys with meat on their bones, and preferably in the arms, butt, and chest. I do occasionally see a snub from some chicks who are skinny, so I think some skinny chicks are into skinny guys as those chicks think a guy 20 lbs overweight is a lard no matter how it's placed. If I may be so blunt, it's only from some skinny white chicks that I've ever seen this negative reaction.

Men come in all shapes and sizes DW, being skinny is just as manly as being stockier - however you're not a real man unless you suffer from flatulence :)

I didn't say that.

I don't want to be discriminated against for being the way I am.

And yes, if you can fart louder than me, then you'd better marry me.

Though the pets would leave.

It takes all kinds.

As long as you are healthy...some guys just can't bulk up, others have no problem. Seems to me skinny guys were "in" in the 1970s with David Cassidy and Leif Garrett too.

Skinny men have always been "in" in the fashion world. When wasn't the fashion world about skinny models in designer clothing?:biggrin1:

That is not the case in the world of pornography, where the "preferred" body size of models/actors and actresses is variable over time. Also, if one's preferred body type is not in accordance with the mainstream sex industry, one can always turn towards subculture niche (chubby chasers, hairy men, small-chested women, etc)

Of course, there is a difference between being Skinny and being Trim. I think those swimmer bodies can be quite attractive, but people need to have some sort of muscle definition.

Ironic isn't it? Skinny models, all this talk about dieting, and everyone being obsessed with thin people, yet the world's population gets fatter and fatter! Makes a lot of sense doesn't it?

Isn't that the truth!

Everyone's so damn fat, but yet the culture bashes what the majority of its people are. It's time for a "Cultural Re-alignment Shift":biggrin1:

It's just part of their industry's neverending campaign to convince everyone that youth = beauty.

Coming out of HS, I was 5'10", 145#, 28" waist...I had an athlete's tone, but was definitely skinny, probably not far off what these fashion designers are pimping.

I'm a half-inch taller now with a 32" waist, and my trainer this morning measured me at 168.5 pounds and 17.5% body fat. I'm no gym rat or meathead, but I'm still in excellent shape...just more muscular than I was at 17. Personally, I think I'm in the best shape of my life...I look better than 99% of guys my age, and I wouldn't trade my present physique for that of my past for all the skinny designer outfits that would fit in my closet.

Good for you bro...a lot of people get older and let themselves go. This is a great example of how one only gets better with age!

Due to stress last fall, I went from 156 to 136 lbs. At 5'9", I looked good for awhile until some friends said I looked 10 years older with a face like Andy Warhol.

Well, the stress is mostly gone, now, and I have gained everything back plus five. People seem to like me better this way.

The fashion industry needs emaciated, effeminate males to match their emaciated, androgynous females, just like the right handbag needs the right shoes.

As much as I love Hedi Slimane aesthetically, he's pretty much got no eggs in his basket. He's fucking crazy...he's antisocial and most likely on some sort of snortable recreational drug(s).

The perfect man isn't a waif...the perfect man is properly proportioned for his size and healthy. That's all. No specific height, no specific weight.
