Still getting alerts from groups I've left

Not sure whether this is a bug or not. I've recently left a few groups but I'm still getting alerts appearing for them.

Try this. Go to your profile and click alerts.

Click the Alerts Preferences tab.

Go about halfway down and uncheck all the groups related checkboxes. Click save.

Log out of LPSG then log back in. Go back to your Alerts Preferences and recheck the boxes you unchecked. Let us know if that doesn’t work.

Im currently working on a strategy to get us around this. The groups module we use is too glitchy for my tastes as well. It's going to take a bit of heavy lifting to get us onto something else though.

But I have it in my sights, and Im actually writing up the documentation as we speak to move ahead with it.

This is a known bug. We are going to overhaul the entire groups module.
