I can honestly say that everyone I know started shaving their pubes after season 2 of big brother. It's weird I know.

There was this contestant named Will (I looked it up so don't go thinking I remember the cast of big brother from 10 years ago). I remember one of his things was that he was completely hairless from the neck down. I was in grade 11 at the time and had never really thought about shaving, or even trimming down there.

As the season progressed little by little I noticed the pubes in the showers after gym were getting shorter and shorter. It's the first time I remember pube shaving (for men) making its way into popular culture.

It makes me laugh when guys shave in summer to cool down when it does the opposite. The whole purpose of pubic hair is to help air circulation to cool the area to promote sperm production.
