Stop the Steal's massive disinformation campaign connected to Roger Stone and Steve Bannon - CNN

To anyone possessing rudimentary control over their mental faculties, this election was settled when Joe Biden pushed comfortably past 270 electoral votes and his tally kept climbing. And if we lived in a nation following the solemn intentions of the framers of the Constitution, the Trump administration would be seamlessly transferring power on Inauguration Day, January 20th to Joe Biden. Unfortunately the current 45th President of the United States continues to play-act as though these election results can be as easily overturned as an NFL touchdown. Moreover, Donald Trump maintains he's in-charge of the instant replay.

I used the term "play-act" because that is exactly what it is. Trump has always known-- even before the 2016 election-- that he was never as popular as Santa Claus. He assumed office in large part by appealing to a legion of lessor-educated, white male voters who were afraid to death that a female devil incarnate (Hillary Clinton) was about to figuratively castrate them once she was elected president. This constituency is particularly receptive to any conspiracy theory about evil plots which threaten to topple their game show folk hero.

Enter one Roger Stone, a snake oil salesman who has operated in the political shadows for decades, emerging on-occasion like some sartorial Boris Badenov to work for Republican candidates who fear there isn't a snowball's chance in hell for them to get elected...without some help. That's where Roger Stone and his small cadre of The Weird come in. They set about dreaming-up voter suppression methods and "scheming-up schemes" that appeal to the worst fears of uneducated, malleable right-wing voters. Anitfa is comprised of incredibly well-endowed African-American males who want to steal your white women-- when they aren't looting and whomping and stomping and burning down cities. If Donald Trump loses it must be that millions of votes were stolen!

Stop the Steal: 500 Trump supporters rally in Delray Beach

Clad in a black T-shirt, cool dude sunglasses and a hat that must have come from a costume shop, Roger Stone spoke to an enthusiastic crowd this past weekend. His latest target: clandestine, super-secret C.I.A. operatives who all hate Donald Trump.

No surprise here. That’s what quid pro quo criminal Presidential pardons are for. Trump and company may want to play nice now. January 20 at noon will be too late.

You are lumping the 74 million people who voted for Trump into one pile of uneducated white people. Gotcha.

You seem tp be perfectly content that some people vote for Democrats simply because that's who their parents voted forr. For years they've gone to the polls and voted for Democrats without actually even knowing why they are voting for them, other than they are Democrats. Says an awful lot about the mentality of the left

I don't vote for Democrats. I vote against people who, with all that's been going on, can still identify themselves as Republicans.

Update: "Stop the Steal" Violence & Mayhem from Jan 6, 2021:

Insurrection At The Captiol

Coping With The Insurrection

Black woman says group of Trump supporters attacked her
^^Article Summary:

As insurrectionists stormed the U.S. Capitol Wednesday, hundreds of fervent Trump supporters gathered for local "Stop the Steal" rallies around the country. In Los Angeles, police are investigating after images circulated of a Trump mob attacking a Black woman near City Hall. The young woman, Berlinda, was walking home when she came upon the rally and started documenting it on her phone. Dozens quickly surrounded her, demanding to know who she voted for and to take off her face mask. She was then brutally attacked by the group of white supremacists, who shoved her, pulled out her hair extensions and pepper-sprayed her in the eyes. The bearded man pictured holding her from behind was one of several witnesses who intervened to help Nibo escape the out-of-control mob.

I had spoken of the other January 6 activities of Trump's loyalists in another thread that had since been deleted because some person or persons apparently filed complaints, objecting I'd imagine, to the truths contained therein. @Mr. LPSG for his part has been most kind and understanding and has even okayed a revision of the thread, and I thank him for that. I suspect the man is pestered on a daily basis by people trying to shut some of us down.

However, I've since decided not to try to reconstruct it. Even though I have every link and article I've ever posted, the original still took a lot of time and work and frankly I haven't the will to undertake it. Besides which, as Mr. LPSG rightfully observed, it WASN'T getting any responses, and a number of others have since made many of the same observations, in other threads.

In reference to what you wrote about the goings on of Jan 6 though, I will repost this clip from the Rachael Maddow Show of January 7th in which she details other actions by Trump's Loyalists that day:
