Good job, man. Have a pile of toothpicks readily available! Seriously! Chew gum or something. Do some small exercises, to get started on relaxing your lungs as well as making them work. Take it easy and remember that what you really want from smoking a cig, is Oxygen and relaxation. You don't need to suck in smoke to get those 2 things.

And you will have more spending money!

I think the smoking stunts your growth is just a way of saying don't smoke. Doesn't everyone want to grow up to be tall?

Go to one of the warehouse stores and buy a huuuuuuge box of gum. Every urge chew some gum. You'll be chewing as much gum as a schoolgirl for a while :)

By now the nicotine is out, but not the by-products. The constant desire is a sign of the elimination of the by-products that your body is eliminating and trying to replace. I quit in 1996 and have only had a few moments of weakness since (fiance cheating), but I only smoked for 3 1/2 years. I was thirteen when I started, too. You can try to replace one habit for another...come up to VA and I can give you something to do every time you have a craving :smirk:.
