I rarely look at other guys' crotches, but when I do it i am not afraid to be considered gay, since i am straight and sure of my sexuality, so i simply have no interest in other people's opinion on it.

The problem is some guys might find it annoying, and i do not want to be indescreet.

Checking out another guys bulge is not different than checking out what is hanging between a guys thighs at the lockerroom shower or at the urinal. Men feel size is competition so they are just checking out the competition. Yes, there is the bi and the gay that check out the crotch. Interesting discussion. I have always enjoyed looking at other men and appreciating their bodies. But to me, it's not really sexual in nature. I enjoy checking out a guy just as an appreciation of the male physique (and - to be honest - in comparison to my own). But it's not necessarily a sexual turn-on for me. Bare, that one percent then is not about being gay. You're just comparing and calibrating. To further your analogy -- if the 1 percent were really about being gay, you would see a buck with huge or attractive antlers and want to mount it.

I am afraid to say it on this site but I think it is called grading on a curve. I have always found the percentage thing on this site interesting. Some make more sense than others. The 100%, 1%-99% and even the 50%-50% seem reasonable. But how does somebody brake it down to 70%-30%. Do they have a calendar where they mark what days the are going to be straight or gay? Wow, everyday last week I looked at a guys crotch so now for the next three I can't. I am just glad the choices weren't broken down to single digits. Hey, I am 17% gay and 83% straight.

I guess I never looked at is as such a defined breakdown. I've never been involved with, or craved any gay sex in my life, but I put 20% down, as I definitely have an appreciation for the male body, and seeing a hung guy is a major turn on. That's the whole point I guess. Guys do normally go around checking other guys out. It doesn't mean they are gay. If while checking other guys out, they cross over to having desires about having sex or a relationship with that person then it's another story. It would seem silly to categorize a guy as less than 100% straight just because while sitting at a red light in NYC he looks up, sees a CK or AF billboard, and thinks that is an attractive man.

Sums up my feelings on this exactly. Sexual feelings are different than admiring the human body which I do find beautiful...male or female.
I do not find the male body sexually attractive though. I do not look at men and think I would like to get it on with him. Women are another story and I find them very sexually attractive. I have much problem keeping my mind on the task at hand when attractive women are in sight.

I do look at men as a comparison type thing too...kinda want to see how I stack up...usually not too well.
