I find it amusing somewhat, in that I'm straight and the gay guy is wasting his time. if verbal contact is made, I will tell them I'm straight. you're wasting your time. if they are persistent, I tell them to please leave me alone. some are very persistent and then try to embarrass you or at least draw attention to themself and the situation they hve created. violence is the last thing on my mind, and I will walk away before that happens most usually. for that matter, being approached by a gay man, has not happened to me in the last 20 years.

I was 18 and so happy to be "out", I almost couldn't control myself. I don't remember doing it more than once, however. The guy did get pretty annoyed with me - maybe that's why I remember it so well.

I think its nice if someone flirts with me

They know i am not gay but are happy to

So yeah - if a gay guy flirts with me, i will flirt back.

this is a great thread.
i am gay and i HATE gay bars so this thread is very interestig to me. i never know how to approach a guy at a bar because you never know if he is gay or not and how he will react. i usually just wait for guys to coe up to me lol.
i can usually tell with a fair ammount of accuracy if a guy is or isnt but you never know 100% so it is scary approaching a guy in a straight bar. especially when you are small like me and could be pummled buy half the guys in the room.
