I'm not straight...but the only question I am unable to answer is #2, although I've done enough reading to know some about it.
#1) Mine hurt for only one second...as the needle penetrated the skin...as soon as it was through, it no longer hurt.
#2) It depends on what size jewelry you're wearing. If you keep the original 14-10ga jewelry it may seem a little more irritating sexually than a larger size that you'd have to stretch up to 8-4ga. BTW, stretching does not hurt.
#3) Cost...mine was only $15 at a highly recommended tattoo/piercing parlor.
#4) Mine healed quickly and felt natural within 2 weeks. Your piercer will tell you it may take up to a month or two to fully and completely heal.
#5) I don't find it uncomfortable at all. Larger jewelry helps also. Thinner, smaller gauges are less comfortable than thicker more substantial jewelry.
