I hate it when in a group of friends or people, straight men make out or something as a spectacle. It's supposed to so funny that they actually allowed themselves to engage in something so shocking and vile! NORMAL people would NEVER do that! Look how funny and ridiculous this is! Thoughts?

I agree. It's as bad as criticizing something by calling it "gay." I've had to put my foot down about that with a lot of people.

That's the whole point. It's a spectacle: "Hey look, those guys are ACTUALLY pretending as if gay sex is legitimate! HAHAHA! So funny!" There are so many things wrong with it on so many levels. I really jsut can't stand it.

It reinforces the gay/straight dichotomy philosophy, and encourages others to make fun of homosexuality as well. These are things it encourage even if the people doing don't believe homosexuality is wrong. While I encourage displaying homosexual relations more often in a positive light, this is not displaying it in a positive light.
