I very much agree with you about those last two points, WH. Just curious - did I say something that made you think otherwise?
I definitely agree that there are 100%ers, both straight and gay. Do NOT agree that "everyone is bisexual." Among 100% straight people, I would guess many, maybe even the majority, are actually
repulsed by the idea of sexual contact with a person of the same sex.
The point is that for some men, they don't have to be physically attracted to a person who is orally servicing them
-- they just enjoy the feeling (and fantasize about whatever they want). So I, unlike a lot of people at LPSG, do believe it's possible for a guy to be
only attracted to one gender, and still enjoy occasional head from the other.
You would say that such guys are bisexual, and based on their behavior, that makes perfect sense. But if sexual orientation is about
desire more than behavior, my opinion is that calling such people bisexual is misleading -- when you are turned on only the other gender, I think straight is a more accurate label. The guy who kicks back, closes his eyes or watches straight porn, and just gets off on the sensation of getting blown is closer to masturbating than he is to gay sex IMO. In fact, this makes a linear gay/bi/straight continuum model of sexual orientation obsolete, but that's a discussion for another thread.
Just to be extra clear: I am not talking about all straight (or gay) guys, but a subgroup of both. I myself am 100% for all practical purposes, so it would be silly of me to argue that no one is.
