I don't know many men (gay, straight, or other) that wouldn't go for a little self-oral if the physical limitations weren't impeding us.

I guess I threw this in the wrong damn thread, sort of.

Mathew I agree with you 100 %. I'd love everyone to be sexually open and expeimental.

Having said that, just because someone is open and experimental does not mean that he/she will enjoy playing with people of the same sex and is uptight homophobic.

lables such as bi/gay/straight are just defintions of a preferences, not signs and signals of homophobia.

I very much agree with you about those last two points, WH. Just curious - did I say something that made you think otherwise?

If you allow someone to be gay, you must also allow someone to be straight . Completely straight men do exsist, and they are not sexually attracted nor do they want blow job or rimming from other men.

My entire point was that straight men in definition, do not regualry let men give them head or lick their arses. If they do I would consider them bisexual. I couldnot care less what your sexual preference is, but there are definitions that seperate our preferences.

I definitely agree that there are 100%ers, both straight and gay. Do NOT agree that "everyone is bisexual." Among 100% straight people, I would guess many, maybe even the majority, are actually repulsed by the idea of sexual contact with a person of the same sex.

The point is that for some men, they don't have to be physically attracted to a person who is orally servicing them  -- they just enjoy the feeling (and fantasize about whatever they want). So I, unlike a lot of people at LPSG, do believe it's possible for a guy to be only attracted to one gender, and still enjoy occasional head from the other.

You would say that such guys are bisexual, and based on their behavior, that makes perfect sense. But if sexual orientation is about desire more than behavior, my opinion is that calling such people bisexual is misleading -- when you are turned on only the other gender, I think straight is a more accurate label. The guy who kicks back, closes his eyes or watches straight porn, and just gets off on the sensation of getting blown is closer to masturbating than he is to gay sex IMO. In fact, this makes a linear gay/bi/straight continuum model of sexual orientation obsolete, but that's a discussion for another thread.

Just to be extra clear: I am not talking about all straight (or gay) guys, but a subgroup of both. I myself am 100% for all practical purposes, so it would be silly of me to argue that no one is.

Peace - Matthew

I am sure there is/was a separate thread for this, but I wanted to add to this particular discussion about sexuality. And, well, the topic has grown beyond assholes at this point, so please let me know whether this is inappropriate.

This is in response to Honey, Matthew, Lostmymind, et al: I agree with Honey that labels are convenient for compartmentalizing our lives; however, people make gross errors in judgment when there is no flexibility to allow for diversity. Labels for anything concerning human beings may be valid half of the time, but because of their inherent over simplification of complex individuals, people loose sight that there are many shades of gray between black and white. A person is more than just a label or a statistic, and the adaptability of human nature is one of our survival traits; nothing is set in stone! Also, as someone previously mentioned, ideas about sexuality are very different between cultures. It is a mistake to slavishly apply our worldview to other people and disregard what works for them. I suppose there has been some progress in American society since there are homos, hets, and bisexuals now versus the acceptable categories of 100 yrs ago; however, that's just a start.

Bisexuality shouldn't be a catch-all phrase for everything else that doesn't fit into the gay/straight continuum either since there are many more variations on a theme here. Many people are confused as how to incorporate transvestites or transexuals into their neat categories of sexuality. As far as I know, the majority of male transvestites consider themselves to be heterosexual. I don't think they have any interest in male/male sex but I could be wrong. Many heterosexuals believe that men having sex with transexuals are gay when in fact they are not. The overwhelming consensus in the gay community is that straight men are the main admirers of trannies. IMHO, most gay men have no interest in anything remotely feminine about a man because it is threatening to their masculinity. Once a male transexual grows breasts, whether through implants or hormones, I consider him to be a woman. And the last time I checked, the majority of gay men have no sexual interest in breasts while straight men do. So, that begs the question, is a man that has sex with transexuals gay, bi, or straight?

To me the answer is irrelevant because I don't view human sexuality in that manner. However, for other people that have strictly differentiated categories of who and what we are, I am curious as to your response?

BTW, to tie this into the main thread, a good number of men that have sex with trannies like to get fucked in the ass. Even so, I still wouldn't consider them to be gay, bi, nor closeted, but rather kinky straight.

Well, my BF likes to have his ass played with. We just bought a butt plug for him, we've discussed fucking with a strap-on, etc. I'm not the least bit worried that he's going to leave me for another man, or that he would secretly want to. He just likes his ass played with, pure and simple. I like to have my pussy licked - it doesn't make me a lesbian just because that is how many lesbians make love. Stimulating the prostate feels good, there is nothing inherently "gay" nor "straight" about it.

My buddy is straight, married and all. He is very sexual and wants to explore his ass though he thinks his wife would freak out some. I have been surprised just how much we have talked about it...I'm actually flattered by the trust. I think he should start some butt plug play on himself to test his own desires and keep taking it up a notch with the wife in other areas first. I don't think the act itself is a gay sex position...it is just another feature of the human body to potenially recieve pleasure. Straight guys would love it if they could just get over some bogus conditioning.

Well, sometimes I can be masturbating for anything between 15 minutes to an hour. After 15 minutes or so, my right hand starts getting achey, so sometimes I get out the lube and massage my prostate instead.

I get the same from my female friends too (at times, not always sadly). Either one hand on my cock and the other up my anus, or one hand up my anus and her mouth round my cock.

Quite an achievement I think really, considering I have hemorrhoids

Coming from a very chauvinistic and pretty anti-gay culture in general (Puerto Rico), I can tell you that is was a bit taboo to me. I would have probably never tried it willingly, but once i was introduced to it, i love it.
I once was being sucked by a girl, and without any warning, as I was nearing climax, she inserted a finger in my ass and immediately found and massaged my prostate.
Wow, I came within seconds, and it was my best orgasm to that date.
I have since bought a prostate massager, and sometimes use it when masturbating. I can't say it always gives me a stronger orgasm (i guess it does not always hit my prostate), but when it does, Wow! It is like an orgasm on steroids.
I wonder, is this as taboo here in the US? Are girls willing to do this? Generally (which is not easy, I know), do girls find it repulsive or think less of a man if he asks for this?
To me (now, at least) homosexuality is not what you do (like having your ass played with) but who you do it with. Personally, I am not interested in having a man play with my ass, or playing with his.
But when a woman plays with mine, I love it. I once went to a massage parlor in Colorado, and the woman, when massaging me, noticed that I spread my legs as she was massging my buttocks, she took it as an invitation, and rimmed me. I almost came just from that, and din't want her to stop.
That being said, i would NEVER confess this preference to a male friend, especially not to one from Puerto Rico. To a woman....I would have to really trust her to tell her. I do, however, spread my legs a little when a woman is blowing me, see if she gets the message. So far, only the massage aprlor girl has acted on my invitation though.

That's it CUBE, ass play wasn't made for gays. The pleasure nerves there weren't stamped "homosexual".

Hell, it was my ex wife who introduced me to anal play. I was squeamish at first, but as said, when a man realizes his ass isn't directly connected to homosexuality, a whole new door of pleasure is opened. I loved it when I'd be thrusting her and she'd suddenly slip a lubed finger in my ass. You talk about shooting a load..

Prostate massages, another tremendous subject. Wow!

To each his own, but ass play can be HOT if done right.

I love to have my wife play with my ass, especially when we have the oil out. I enjoy the thought of having something inserted (she's used fingers, beads, a vibrator, etc...) but it isn't comfortable for me. I can't seem to relax. Any sugesstions?!?!

Only one woman has ever decided to play with my ass - she'd been blowing me for a while and then started messing about and tickling me. We were having a laugh and to avoid the tickles I rolled over. She just grabbed my ass and dived in tongue first. I didn't last long...

The only thing that concerns me is that if it were to happen again I'd be self conscious about being really, really, really clean. Other than that, I have no hang ups about it. Penetration just seems like something (I know, you'll never know till you try it!) that just wouldn't be physically comfortable for me.
