I couldn't care less about his sexual orientation, and while I'm sucking him, neither could he.

It's just a moment where two men are getting what they want. What's the issue?

We are very limited in our conception of sexuality. Our culture is socially very primitive. There was a Native American tribe that had a conception of twelve genders.

For the record I gave a straight friend a blowjob when we were both at college. It only happened once and as far as I'm aware he's never done it again. I would say he used to be straight-curious and now he is straight and no longer curious. But I guess you could say he lost his straight status for ever that night over twenty years ago. Does it really matter either way?

For all I know he could be on here. He certainly fits the criterion haha. Say hi if you are, Richard. You know who you are...

Hmmm, if you get a blow job from a dude, your not straight. You like guys.. I know my cock would be limp, men dont attract me.. If a girl gets her pussy eat'n or ass eat'n by a girl she isn't straight, she is either bi or gay..

Same thing with my friend in college. I actually find him straighter than most guys as he has no hang-ups.

I don't know, but bisexuality, homosexuality, sexual deviation or whatever it may be called has been around since the fall of man. Just as many people are bi and gay today as there were then.

Another thought, (I was once one of them), but there are a LOT of bi and gay people out there, married and not who don't consider themselves bi or gay because they're not living the lifestyle. Also, a lot of people who are but don't want to be, so they don't think of themselves as such.

In all honesty and no offense to anyone, I'd say percentage wise most people are to some extent bisexual.

It's a part of life as we know it and always will be.

This was extremely well said! Dead on!

Doesn't make you gay to admire a nice cock. Just like it doesn't make a gay guy straight 'cause he like a girls big rack.

Depends on whether or not he's a repeat offender

Seriously though - in my opinion I rate sexuality on a relationship scale. I have had plenty of sex with women, but prefer men for my long term relationships. Therefore instead of "Bi" which a lot of folks would call me, I'm more "gay."

I think people label themselves based on their predominant orientation which is fine. The truth is that most people are varying degrees of bisexual. I think the Kinsey study estimated about 10% were completely gay, 38% straight and 52% in between.

Unfortunately some people use the label bisexual to describe people who are 50/50 only.

"Straight" is a fantasy for some gay men. They'll tell themselves their trick is "straight" even after said trick has spread open wide and taken a cock while screaming in pleasure at the top of his lungs. On the other hand, "straight" men hold onto that label out of some fear that the slightest attraction to men, whether acted on or not, will tarnish their manhood. Straight men live in fear, like little boys, of being called a sissy or fag. We socialize men to be so fucked up about their sexuality that they need to hold onto the label "straight" even as their cock is in another man's ass.

While I don't think any particular sexual act, even if repeated, makes a person gay, straight or bi, I do think that both gays and straights have a mostly unhealthy psychological need for these tired, antiquated labels.

The labels aren't real. They never have been and never will be. It's a fantasy that's given social meaning. That's all.

I enjoy reading these threads. Such interesting perspectives from intelligent people. I think too that many people simply seek intimacy and closeness and fulfill this need in many ways. So long as the person is not rationalizing their behavior by victimizing another then live and let live. What I mean is they don't have interaction with a guy and then condem his lifestyle. For example, if a straight guy gets sucked and then says he hates gays then that is really messed up. But generally man people just want closeness.

Well put, and I agree wholeheartedly. "Tired" and "antiquated" describe both the labels and the need to use them very well. I don't call myself straight, bi or anything else. Indeed, other than the occasional multiple choice inquiry on a medical history questionnaire I don't believe I've ever been asked about my sexual orientation. Society at large judges my sexual orientation on my behavior in public life. What I do with my personal plumbing is my own business.

I self identify (internally) as straight for the same reason that equusAZ sees himself as gay, i.e. based on relationships. As for my own homosexual acts with other men, I have absolutely no qualms about that and have never worried that my "manhood" might be tarnished.

It takes a little work, and an open mind, to understand your fellow members of society beyond the simpleton's little labels, but it is well worth the effort. I highly recommend expending that time and effort.

I think religion, the media and society in general has a lot to answer for when it comes to male and female identity. So much unnecessary guilt and shame because people feel the need to conform to some fabricated standard that doesn't really exist.
