I'm going to be a stripper for Halloween. I'm really trying to psyche myself up for this, and I could always use some feedback. I'm thinking some bikini briefs and maybe something over them to be more... ahem... modest, at first. I've got to hit the gym a little bit harder over the next month. Trying to come up with some songs to dance to...

I have a few. Seriously, something to dance to...

    Petey Pablo -- "Freek-a-Leek"
    LL Cool J -- "Headsprung"
    Mis-Teeq -- "Scandalous"
    Caria -- "Goodies"

    Suggestions?

(Today's inspiration was brought on by a group of really fine sisters sitting in the lounge, sipping on some drinks. I held a tray above my head and some dance music played through the lounge as a fellow server and I started dancing through. I dropped it down to the floor -- meaning: dipping low, knees buckled, "drop it like it's hot" with a tray over my head.)

    Dee;
Have someone film you doing your stripper act. I would like to see that myself.

As long as you post pictures from your stripper act and the post-game party, Dee! Hey, have FUN with it. How is your audience going to be?

A lot of dancers seem to use songs from the 70's and 80's ... there are so many in those years that were great for stripping. Wild Cherry's You Sexy Thing and The Bay City Rollers' Saturday Night were two of my most popular numbers. There are a lot of appropriate songs by The Village People and K C & the Sunshine Band. Or ... hey! ... what about Rubberband Man? ;)

Needless to say, "I'm too Sexy" should be titled "I'm too Cliche".

Dee - you are such a tease to start a thread like this and not to talk more to us about what's going on....

what about that song that was used in The Full Monty. I thought it was perfect! Hell, you could even use some of their cheesy dance steps. (You can get away with anything for Halloween) Wasn't the song Hot Stuff?

Javierdude22: No way man...70's and 80's are hardly sexy!...lol...Unless you want to make it more about fun instead of actually having a sexually attractive act.

If the latter is more the plan...I would seriously consider Maxwell - ..'Till the cops come knocking

You've got the same look approximately...and, to me at least, it is the most sexy song I know.

    Good luck.

For info on what real strippers dance to, ask Madame Zora! Rick James "Superfreak" is always a favorite, and "Atomic Dog" is another off the oldies list. Other than that, anything by Marylin Manson or Prince... Dee, you're gonna make one HOT stripper!

    Hi

I wish you luck - it'll be great and I'll look forward to you posting some of the pics. How about stripping to the theme from Shaft - very erotic!

drrionelli: I suppose that "Shake Ya Ass" is being considered in the potential list of tunes. Personally, I'm rather fond of Craig David's "What's Your Flava?" ("Flavour?")

Ooh the images in my head :D

    Suggestions?
Gloria Stefan - Conga (or Turn The Beat Around)
The Backstreet Boys - Larger Than Life (no pun intended)
    Maddona - Express Yourself
    Malvina - Spank Me

drrionelli: Perhaps we're overlooking the most obvious one. Given that this is a Halloween theme, perhaps "Batdance" by Prince.

    Dee:

With that impressive bulge staring them in the face, you could dance to a Mozart symphony and they will all still be concentrating on you!! ;)

The music is secondary to your body!
