This may not be in the proper Forum.
An earlier note from Madame_Zora caused me to pause.

Strippers - both female and male - benefit from having attractive bodies (as do we all) but they are paid to expose more than is socially acceptable in the various "strip clubs".
There are numerous reasons why someone engages in this trade.
Bring them up if so desired.

I'd like to know what Members think about those who sell views of their nekid body. Acceptable, or not ? A version of USA Freedoms, or not ?

If a consenting adult wants to make a few bucks by showing, and a consenting adult wants to pay to see, where is the problem? Anyone who thinks it is "unacceptable" does not have to go to a strip club and watch something he or she deems offensive, right?

    No morals involved,
    no one is being hurt,
    no community involvement (police) needed.
    Stripping is an economical endeavor.
    Correct ?

There are measures taken – by the strip clubs - to keep the “kids” from seeing things they should not and others from being hurt. Only adults are allowed in.
    Correct ?

    Thanks for the quick response.

I'm not a strip dance afficianado - I don't care for modern ballet either - but one stripper has stuck in my mind over the last 40 years.

When I was in college I joined some dorm mates for a few beers and a couple of porn films (back then you rented an 8mm projector from a camera shop and found a 'friend' who'd supply the porn reels for a fee.) One of the 'stories' had the characters visit a strip club and one of the acts had the ugliest woman I've ever seen doing a pole dance and simulated sex. She had the body of a siren - smooth skin, perky breasts, wide hips but her face would scare a vulture off a shit wagon.

I had dreams about it for years - not pleasant ones.

Strippers aren't being paid to peform actual sex acts with their customers, but rather give them a good view and view only that I've seen of their attributes for a modest donation.

Immorality is all perspective when it comes to this.

I'm not so big on the strip club scene. Sometimes it's fun to go into a bar with naked guys dancing (I call these dollar-dick nights), but it gets old for me relatively quickly. I also find the guys hunkered down around the bar kind of sad -- like the people who gamble their social security money away in Atlantic City.

No judgement here: it's just my perspective.

Strippers/Erotic Dancers are good to fuck, if they are voluptuous.
(to hell with those anorexic bitches). But, from personal experience,
a very very bad idear to get attached to and/or marry.!!?
They will inflate your ego to its fullest (and especially if you are
well endowed) and then pop it on the slightest whim when they
    decide to start fucking around.

I like strip clubs... I'd do it myself if I had the time... Last time I went, the guys who were with me told them it was my 21st birthday... free shots and lots of extra attention from the strippers (they were female, for all you curious guys out there)... And I agree about the anorexic looking ones... I like to go out and see women like me who are full figured...

I stripped for a summer during college. It was great money, but a really fucked-up scene. Free drugs and drinks everywhere, way too tempting for most young women. You've got to be grounded to prevent the attention, drugs, and money from sucking you in. Unfortunately, most that pursue the business are anything but. I saw some really sad stuff while doing it. Glad to have gotten my Bachelor's and moved along...

    Okay, no arguments.
    This is the proper Forum.

    Also:
    Acceptable/Un- is a "Who cares ?"

Someone I know has a 25 y.o. son. Some of his LadyBuds are strippers
and suggested he be a stripper too. He is tickled by the attention but does not want to be naked (or almost) if there aren't bare women around (doesn't want to be in a men-only strip club).

If this were your son - what would you suggest ?

In my experience, guy strippers only make real money in clubs that servesa primarily gay clientele. If he'd be comfortable with this, it's a way to make great money.

    Yes,

Male strippers generally won't make great money if they serve a female audience. Women simply aren't desperate enough to throw down alot of cash. I would imagine that the strippers at gay clubs likely make good cash, but that's a whole 'nother ballpark.

I've had friends who went in and came out totally messed up. I'm not an advocate of stripping, in terms of those that do, especially if they are young women making some money for college. Someone mentioned here that no one gets hurt. Actually, I think the strippers do, and far more than anyone else. Think about it. For someone one who has not even matured yet to be thrown in an industry that practically abuses the use of their bodies to acquire money or favors. The way they start to see the opposite sex really warps, and if they don't really know who they are just yet, they are in trouble of getting really confused. We learn from experiences and those experiences change us. I doubt she or he is going to experience the best side of humanity in strip clubs, it's just a matter of ratios. And if the strippers experience a majority of the life in the club for a given amount of time, then they have likely been changed for the worse. it's a risk.

Still if they can handle it, and they want to do it, there is no reason why they can't do it and others can see them. It is just a service as any. But personally I would never advise anyone to do it, unless they really had to get that kind of money really fast, then it's their risk.

I joined an agency a few years ago. Initially just for a laugh. It was fun at first, but after about 5 or 6 hen parties the novelty wore off. Having 20 or so drunk women treating you like a piece of meat sounds fun (and it was to start) but in the end I felt a bit degraded. I don't like to talk about it now. Not something I'm proud of.

LMAO... That's what my boyfriend says... He loves the fact that I'm open about who I am and that I don't feel threatened by a stripper (especially since I join in on the fun)

Don't bother me.... never have. The men are cheesey, imho, and really not a turn on in any form. The women are just "objects," I guess? If I was dating a guy who wanted to go, I have no issue with it. Those women are there to make money, to do a job.

Besides, any guy I am in a serious relationship with... I'm going to trust enough not to go too far. If the mood is right, I may want to go too. :) Beautiful women are wonderful to behold, even though I'm not sexually into them.... I can appreciate what I see and it would be fun to do together as a couple.
