Hi all, I’m at my wits end, and very unhappy …. Any help or similar experiences to throw some light would be very very much appreciated.

My health is in good order, weight etc….. I am clean and safe

The only issue I have-
- is genital herpes for many years, and have been taking Famvir daily
- a rash appeared 7 mths ago under the foreskin, penis head, after a couple of blowjobs
- and, I am suffering terrible pains, burning, numbness daily up and down my left leg/foot and groin, even when there is no visible herpes breakout (a type of neuropathy, I guess), for the past 7-8 mths

Now, I have recently changed herpes meds to Valtrex and find it much better (outbreaks lessening), I have used creams and recently zinc based talc as prescribed by GP/Specialist for penis rash with minor improvements, and taking Lyrica pain killers for pain mgt.

My doctors/neurologists (done MRIs etc) can’t find why I have these pains and dismiss it with pain killers, they can’t explain the rash, and argue viciously that the pains are not related to the rash or herpes.(I don’t have shingles)

I noticed that the pain has intensified from the time that I developed the rash, almost go hand in hand, could be coincidental.

I am in a long term relationship and it has affected our relationship, as my penis is often irritated, and how long do I have to cream and talc….. and tolerate the pain

I can’t take it anymore ….

Appreciate your thoughts Thanks

It may just be an allergic reaction but you need to definitely go back to the doctor. The body can sometime react to elements that may not have bothered you before. In addition, men just like women can suffer from yeast infections. If the doc hasn't checked for that yet see if he or she will. In the meantime, try taking a warm bath with either baking soda or aveeno oatmeal powder. Sorry for your discomfort, feel better soon!

Joybunny is wise. It could be a yeast infection. You may also want to see an allergist and a urologist to get more specialized opinions.

I had left foot nerve damage many years ago and suffered 6-10 months of what felt like random stabbing electrical shocks from my knee to my foot. Two orthopedic specialists and one MD couldn't do anything. The MD suggested a trip to an acupuncturist. The thing that finally worked: acupuncture. after 4 treatments all numbness and pain were gone. To this day I'll swear by it.
Good luck.

I think your pain is probably a pinched nerve from some sort of infection related inflammation. Sugar feeds inflammation and cancer and yeast. Cut back on your sugar intake.

Viruses and bacteria are temperature sensitive. Their reproduction rate is reduced when you have a fever. If you simulate this in a wet sauna (kept clean) on a regular basis you will greatly improve your health. Stunting the growth of germs while letting your immune system clean up is the idea. Plus heat increases circulation. Circulation helps clean out inflamed areas (bad idea for cancer though, circulation feeds cancer).

You're diseased because you've put your pecker were it don't belong (no real offense intended). Your choices got you here. Out of curiosity was it worth it?

I'd also ask if herpes has diminished your erection. I think dick diseases attack your ability to get and maintain hard dick (also prostrate cancer and incontinence come from these experiences).

You see a lot of limper dicks in porn stars who have been in the business longer. Its not age as much as time spent in the business and less condom use. I think reasonable jelqing improves blood flow to a limp dick worn out by disease.

This is all simply theory and could be complete BS, but it seems reasonable to me.

Your problem could also be your diet. Have your doctors addressed this?

If you're eating foods high in L-Arginine, it could trigger an attack. Your goal should be a diet high in L-Lysine. Here's a list of foods that are good for you to eat: Herpes - Nutrition , as well as some recommended treatments: Herpes Treatment .

I have looked at fungi and parasites, and its clear, or the creams cleared it, but slight rash still persistent, but better than before.

No erection problems or ejaculation, no anal sex w/o condom

..however my glucose is a bit high, not yet diabetic levels but high so I guess thats one point, nutrition could be better.....
